My first mech was a Oris . When it started losing I took it to a watchmaker and he refused ti service it because it had a pin pallet movement . Great to see them so successful today.
I’m wearing as I watch the Zenith elite classic which is similar although on whole other level of quality and finishing. I really do love minimalist watches. This is nice, not quite there but nice. I think when you do minimalist it has to be exceptional otherwise it’s lost. Great review as always.
@@ClickSpringReview they have, but they are like gold dust. I was on their wait list but they wanted a sizeable deposit and my build slot was mid 2025!
Wow thats hardcore and people Rolex are bad lol , I dare say they will be at WatchPro next next that was where I got to handle some of their watches last year very impressive
The similarities with the James Morrison are also there. This for me is arguably too minimal. I miss tension and contrast, but love the look of the James Morrison which is still very much focused on a select few elements which therefore shine all the brighter.
While owning an Oris Artelier myself ( Thelonious Monk Limited Edition) I think this version is a little bit boring. Would buy a Junghans Max Bill instead.
Hi Barry, this is nice if you like that sort of thing. The green looks better, but even so I'd struggle to favour this watch in a world that also gives us the Nomos Club Campus 38 for £200 less and the Tangente 36.5... LG Bob 🍻🥨
Very nice dress watch. However it's absolute robbery for that retail price to have a printed dial with no applied indices. A dress watch like this should have nicely polished applied indices hands down.
@@ClickSpringReview the James Morrison case is different though, I believe (or maybe not, reviewing it, it has more of a flat side than I thought. They might have used the same design for all three).
@@ClickSpringReviewI can agree with that. But it is interesting to see other brands’ interpretation of the minimalist design. Will look into the Nomos. Great reviews, as always!
@@Barry-26 I only criticized the watch, not the reviewer. That’s fair game. People do the same on my channel and I don’t perceive it as negativity. I understand that, while I may perceive it as boring, boring might be exactly what someone loves about, or a better word, simple.
Very tasteful the crystal is the star
I do like a good domed crystal John :)

Only Friday afternoon I just started servicing a Oris pin pallet model it has a small sub second at 6 o'clock Colin
@@ClickSpringReview ha! It kept surprisingly good time
@@colinbenfield326 The is a photo of it on the channels Facebook page facebook.com/profile.php?id=100089483695356
The longer I gaze at it, I find myself liking it. Interesting effect. Great review. Thanks.
Yeah it is one of these types of watches Matt
I just ordered one of these. Thanks for the video !
Anytime Sir hope you enjoy the watch
Just the review I was looking for. thanks
Anytime 👍🏻
So clean. Altough, I would like a cream dial version
The cream one on the right strap would be 😎

Thanks James and your right, AnOdain watches have nailed this

@@ClickSpringReview I know, crazy. I thought about a yr max. That was in 2021 that I was given that slot. I didn’t put a deposit down.
@@Bourne1984 Thats mad but fair play to the guys , I going to ask them just how many they make a year if I get to see them Saturday
Very Bauhaus! Green is the new black!!!
It’s last year actually but still beautiful!
Hi Melissa it was released in Aug this year 👍🏻
Its a shame they didn't have the green model in otherwise I would of reviewed that one

Yeah I think there have been a few models from Oris with this same case and minimalist design
Hmm. Good review as ever. Movement and clasp I like. This particular Oris is a bit meh for me, but I’m looking forward to the Zodiac review.
The Zodiac model was the one I reviewed last week matey the ceramic , I've a few Yema models to review at the min
@@ClickSpringReviewI'm looking forward to the Yema reviews!

I do have a soft spot for Junghans watches I reviewed there chrono model a few months back and loved it
Ahh. Well. I liked it then, so stilllike it now 😊
😅😅😅
Does it have a ghost date? It doesn’t matter but I appreciate the effort when they remove it
Nope it didn't have one Jose

Very true I'd take the Nomos everyday of the week over this , I should of really done a comparison video of the two 😬
@@ClickSpringReview next time? 🙂
This watch makes me 🥱💤
As I say this is a dress watch so completely different to there normal stuff

I agree if it was a high end precious metal model but this is more casual
Actually the watch that is closest to this is the Oris James Morrison ( no date ) The John Coltrane has date
You have a point there 😁

Oris goes bauhaus. Minimal and sterile, but interesting all the same.
Its a nice watch but like Robert Lock said in one of the comments you can get a Nomos Club Campus for less
@@ClickSpringReviewI can agree with that. But it is interesting to see other brands’ interpretation of the minimalist design. Will look into the Nomos. Great reviews, as always!
Cheers Sir always means a lot to hear people actually like the reviews 👍🏻
Es muy feo
I different set of hands would improve it
Man… that’s one boring Oris. But I’m the type that’s only entertained by divers
I wasn't sure at first but I kinda like it 🤔
Why are you commenting here ? Keep opinions to yourselves.
As long as we keep it friendly I don't mind 00VII 👍🏻
