    The sooner the country realise that the public enemy is not necessary Zuma but Pravin & the President on selling the SOE’s to private guys the better. Brian & the likes of Koko had Eskom’s best interest & the country not the private guys whose been benefiting for all this years. The greed of Oppenheimer mines & other big giant (Anglo, Exxaro, BHP Billiton, etc) with the 40 year contracts is disheartening & evil.

    Why on earth would a GCEo be crucified for refusing to allow a change in supplier price with such a margin? Who's benefitting out of that deal coz it's no eskom? And who's interests are being protected? Why must he answer for optimum as if he was its Ceo?

    Sounds like the Commission thought it was prudent for Optimum to get an increase, but as CEO Brian makes sense about why he didn’t increase the price.

      If everyone was interested in getting to the bottom of this they would acknowledge that Tegeta only took over becuase they were willing to not increase. Pembani was way ahead of Tegeta when it comes to taking over Optimum but they too wanted an increase.

      Why vele? If this about Eskom then why is Optimum taking center stage? This is not about Eskom. It is about Tegeta taking over Optimum. The direction is that Eskom should have stopped it. Even if it meant that the financial implications would render Eskom insolvent.

    Molefe says all that he has told us was in his words" My postulation was that they were hoping to use Mr Ramaphosa’s position to help them negotiate out of the pickle.”
    Molefe said he had no proof that Ramaphosa deliberately acted in the interests of Glencore, but he could have benefitted.
    Deputy Chief Justice Raymond Zondo asked: “But you accept that it’s more of speculation?”Yes was Molefe answer. Now? What about your stand. Ramaphosa is laughing out loud at this clown.

    So experts came and looked at financial position of OCM and recommended a price and compared it to market prices. I see a big flaw in this as they should have discounted the fact that optimum walked into a mine without paying a cent so at no point would they have been entitled to a market related price.

    Zondo cannot in gud conscience close this so called state capture without calling Ramaphosa to answer. It's funny that when people talk about Ramaphosa Treasury refuse to giv money to the Commission but money was always available when they wantef to feed us stories about the Guptas n Zuma.
