Just what the doctor ordered!
you should use Mr.Cement S and just tape the parts together with masking tape and wick it down the seams. much less sanding and rescribing necessary.

There is meanwhile an enormous number of modelbuilding videos on youtube of all kind: tanks, cars, ships and of course aircraft in almost every scale. It is a very good decision support if you want to build a model. You can assess the quality of the kit, learn about new techniques to get the best result and see what kind of products are used. Some of the means I'd never heard of before. The Mirage is a beautiful aircraft and the kit by Special Hobby seems to be well made. So it is perhaps a good choice to start an impressive collection of contemporary aircraft...

Very nice. Just curious: why did you not wait to add the seat belts until after you painted the seat and seat cushions since they were going to be yellow anyway? I certainly defer to your experience and talent

Thank you.I make my own washes.I use rotring water based ink and dilute it with water and add a couple of drops of liquid soap in it to improove the flow.

Thank you.The gloss is johnsons future floor wax.The matt cote is Valejo acrylic matt varnish.
@@doctormig2709 Thanks for the rapid reply. Are you spraying the Future or putting it on with a brush. I have not had much luck putting it through my airbrush. Any advice? Thinning?
I am brush painting it.It is seof leveoing so no need to spray it.If you try to thin it you will never achieve the glossy effect.

Yes with odorless white spirit/turpentine/enamel oil thinner

21 век и такая ужасная стыкуемость деталей. Щели огромные. И вы их не шпеклевали...Давно мечтаю о этой модели Миража, но качество производства от фирмы...За видео лайк.
Нормальное качество для ЛНД, многие детали требуют переделок, но в общем это лучший Мираж F1 на сегодня.

Просто Доктор традиционно собирает на скорую руку, даже вон фонарь на супер клей клеит.
@@Fred_SPb То что лучший знаю, но стыковку могли бы подогнать на фабрике после тестовой сборки. Всё впечатление портит, как будто в 90-е вернулись. Там шпаклевать и шпаклевать, а мы уже избалованны качеством. Может кто ещё Миража запилит получше в пластике..
Thanks for the comment. I don't quite understand Russian but from what I can understand you think the model is not good. I think the quality of the model is quite ok. It is not that bad. I like it. The details are ok. The penalization is really nice. The fit is not poor. It requires a bit of sanding and re scribing but if you expect a tamiya quality level than this one is far off. But in the end really nice model to work on.
