Kyle Walker comes off quite honest and backs his team, nice to see
Comes across as decent guy to be fair.
I love that Walker immediately says Aguero. You can tell how much respect he has for him.
Because its not even up for debate...yet.
@@kh7688Haaland is already a better player than Aguero, Even though Aguero is a legend of the game
@@trymberntsen5533 what are you smoking mate?
You sound like a mega fanboy
@@trymberntsen5533 aguero >>>> haaland x10
Walker is 10000% going to be in podcasting/media after his career.
Made for this content thing
🎙️🔥💣
They should do it together.
walker talking about spurs when he says we never had that winning mentality 😂
he ain't wrong tbf. how can we lose so many semis and finals in a space of 8 years
Could have just as easily been talking about the English national team
@kints rapist2 Chelsea and united have spent more since 2013, Chelsea lie in 10th and united have won 1 trophy in 10 years? You can have all the money you want it's the football that wins you games
Lol he cussed spurs implicitly there
@@Mcfc2Rich unlike city, chelsea has won the champions league.
Love that honesty at the end by Walker regretting not taking a penalty in the Euros.
Also shows how incredibly intimidating just the act of volunteering for a penalty of that magnitude is.
@@palashrawat401 true but then you can’t let youngster below the age of 20 take them
@@davidfebreeze428 if they step up and are volunteering to take one why would you not let them, rather someone who was confident than someone who’s already thinking of the backlash from missing. All easy to say in hindsight.
Absolutely refreshing to see a footballer like Walker who comes across as raw, honest, and personable as compared to the many mechanical answers we normally hear
All man city players are like this
Not a City fan but this is good actually. Shows good mentality from both. The interviewer barely gets the word “ambitions” out of his mouth and they both say champions league. That’s the winner’s mentality
Yeah they kinda have to say that as that is what they are paid to achieve lol
@@straightouttacornwall they're being paid to be good st football no solely to win the ucl
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 😜
@@samfreeman1974 Yeah Prem League champions don't have CL as a goal. Ok Buddy.
@@samfreeman1974 not solely but they help the club generate greater revenue, on top of the accolades of such progression.. 📺💷🏦
I like Walker, but Stones is so humble and underrated ,City are very lucky to have them both.
Big ups to Walker on stating that he regrets not taking a pen because he was afraid that he would let the team down and in hindsight it came down to the young lads which was even worse. Takes guts to admit that.
Chemistry between these two is off the charts. They’re so comfortable and relaxed around one another.
1:45 walker throwing shots at spurs
Yeah, it's hilarious. The shade is unreal
😂😂
Spurs suck and never gonna win a major trophy
Idk why son and kane haven’t left yet
☕️🐸
These two are so humble - really great interview, and it was actually nice for a change having no background music. Just a nice relaxed, honest interview.
That Stones giggle when the interviewer asked “how’s his head now?” 😭😭😭😭😭 5:00
And Kyle's face
Walker has so much respect for aguero and that's something so nice.
Kyle Walker is always a fantastic honest listen. His insight is always measured and mature. Would love to listen to an extended interview with him when he hangs up his boots.
Check him out on Friday Night Football (BBC five live) last season. 1 hour interview and it's brilliant.
Kyle Walker is such a sound guy
He’s a top guy bet he loves the sesh and Thai birds 😅
John Stones has been brilliant
Yup. Typical English media tried to tear him down a few years ago. How dare a young defender that cost that much make a mistake or two!
Now they're all loving him again.
Im an arsenal fan from America and I’m baffled at how the English media builds up and tears down players.
@@Lordofbags I can see it coming with Saliba.
Criminally underrated. Barely got spoke of in the World Cup, because people feeling sorry for maguire. He was one of englands best players.
4:03 I like how he can’t pick in between KDB or Silva, shows the respect he’s got for both of them 🔵💯
John stones got to be one of the most underrated defenders I've ever seen...he goes under the radar alot because of kompany,Diaz etc but for me stones is world class and needs captains arm band for both club and country.....(man u fan)
Better than Luke Shaw..? 🤔💭
@@acharich easily...
Yes well said
@@acharich Is that even a comparison dude?
Love these two, especially together. Big reasons why the mood and camaraderie is as good as it is in the England squad
So proud of Walks and Stonezy 💙 they always have each other's back!!
‘Big dangly thing’ never thought I’d hear that today
💀💀💀
There’s no better centre half on earth than Stones right now. Incredibly underrated by everybody.
Nonsenseutroll
Aguero. Longevity cannot be bought! I hope to say the same about Haaland and like Silva and de Bruyne, not be able to answer that question
At this rate haaland is due to hit agueros prem numbers in about 4 seasons. Imagine 10?
de bruyne has performed well at city for a good 6-7 years now hes definitely getting there
Depends on haalands loyalty
@@zephune9506 yes at this rate but if he doesn’t score he’s an empty shirt the whole gane
@@daquaviousbingleton9763 has more assists than kane this season and has had teammates miss easy finishes created from his passes. Very underrated vision.
Stone's so humble we are lucky to have him at city pep did a great work with him💙💙
“There is a difference between a Goalscorer and a Player”
- Johan Cruyff
“me and john as parents"🤣
Walkers a top bloke, every answer he gave was quality.
Quality interview! Keep it up lads from a Bournemouth fan. X
Two top players. Great personalities.
Walker is one of the most intersting players to hear.
I see night and day between guys like this (and there's a few I think in the english squad ) and what I'm used to with French players, who give the most bland answers in interviews.
Mbappe and Pogba are the only ones I can think of with strong personnalities, but in France the press makes the ones who actually have some things to say avoid them.
🤔💭
the difference between Haaland and Aguero is that : Aguero can score after creating for himself, he can score one touch, he can score outside of the box, good in distributing the game, or receiving the ball and turning (especially when he was younger). Haaland is very strong and athletic ( these traits are maxed out in that player) but I am not sure if you can rely a whole career on strength and athleticism ( you never with the science we have today)
Haaland can also score after creating himself and also score the way you describe Aguero can. Haaland plays the way he does for City because thats the way he is told to play and be a target striker. He has adapted to that play. What you and others say so confidently about Haaland is a huge misconseption of Haaland and his abilities and a load of crap. Thats the way those of you who have only watched Haalands 20 or so games for City would see him. Its the same with the tap-in thing. Just because most of his goals is inside the 16 m for City doesnt mean its the only goals he can score or that those goals are tap ins. He doesnt just stand there and wait for the ball. He always move to find the right space and he usually comes flying in to score the goals.. These type of goals need a football brain. He is always at the right side of the offside line and usually makes small trick runs to trick defenders to follow him one way and move the other. He always read where the ball will come. Thats not an easy task, cause why wouldnt every striker score the same amount of goals then?
Walker best prem right back of all time imo. Stones is one of the best centrebacks in the world.
Tbf as a Liverpool fan after thinking about it, those 2 statements are probably right.
Ahead of Gary Neville?
@@futurehistorian yeah mate me personally. Think he’s much harder to attack against and plays in a better footballing side than Uniteds one. Neville had better crossing though and it is debatable as to who’s better👍
Cmon if walker had pace of 5 instead of 10 he would be playing for Barnsley
@@Cashews100 I think Walker being better than Neville is a valid argument but a better side than Neville’s United teams? Come on now
Aguero is all time legend for Mancity. he is incomparable.
havent even watched the video and i almost cried at the question in the title, love them both sm!
Naming a cat ‘Dave’ is too funny 😂😂😂
I hope Dave is allowed around the England camp so we can see more of him ❤
French here, like a vast majority of football fans I have 0 affinity with city, doesn't prevent me from recognizing the brillance of their football and their players.
On that note, I strongly believe Walker to have been the best right back in the world the last couple of years (the only one I saw able to handle mbappe)
As a WH fan, I love Walks. Love his humour and personality from watching the England and some City content ☺️
1:45 reminds me of the English national team. “It’s coming home” 😂
Love that he isn't fake and won't just ride the wave. Huge respect to halaand tho
Henry: Is this Quickfire?
Very different players, but I'd choose David Silva. Aesthetically, he is the best player I've ever seen. The way he took the ball, the elegance, the intelligence, unmatched in PL history.
📝📝📝
“how’s his head now?”
best i’ve seen 🤣
Very honest
As always need to stop off field stuff affecting on field
Walker Got Me To Say Wow I Don’t Know That He Has Strong and Wonderful Character 🔥
Of course walkers got regrets, his major one was staying at Tottenham to long.
"Seeing this big dangly thing"
"How's his head now?"
👀
Even as a United fan love these two
2 sound yorkshire lads 👍
Proud these are both English, genuinely good lads
Aguero
1:55 😭
Stones voice reminds me of thomas shelby's voice, go on son, manchester blinder 🤣
"How is his head now" 4:56
respect to walker
Great interview, both seem like great blokes and speakers. Super insightful
AGUERO above any other striker up in city. The dude was untouchable in his prime. Respect to what haaland is doing tho
aguero, with his height, still managed to be a legend and a deadly striker in the premier league. you can see how talented and how amazing he was. ofc haaland is exceptional at this time. but too many beautiful goals of aguero show that he is so amazing goalscorer.
"Ambitions? "Champions League "
“Long dangly thing”
Not for the first time walks
Didn't expect Walker to sound like that
Remember when there were actual interviews
Walker says he never seen a game like this in his life . Rodrygo : stop the cap
"how's his head now?"
At this stage aguero is citys best player ever no question.
Errrm there have been plenty of English centre half’s who could play out from the back before Stones came along. Terry, Ferdinand, Tony Adams, Terry Butcher to name a few.
doesn't hesitate ...Aguero
Why Pep Set jhon stones in Kyles place in the starting line up few days back
John Stones. Sheffield’s finest
"Tha'noz arkid"
Proper honest interview. Nice
Love them Both 👌👌
audio on this is too low....
You cannot compare the two, as they are two completely different types of Player, but one thing is for sure, Haaland is a Goal Scoring Machine and what I cannot understand is how freely other Clubs, especially in the EPL, gave up so easily, trying to sign him and let City have such a free reign on him.
Blues knew the release clause radar...
Bet that United, Chelsea, Castle or any other team would have slapped 150+mil, and yet not sure that City would let go or not.
We love Erling, but he's on similar wages as kevin in city...he's scoring tons for us but its what he's paid for...
@@lucifer5261 All true :0)
Personally I think Haaland is one of the few Players around that actually deserves that extortionate wage he is on.
When you think how much Lukaku cost to buy and the wage he was on, Haaland is cheap!
The why talked about Spurs not having that winning mentality and that he's just there to participate is just so funny. 😂 The next level of disrespect
I go to Everest game
Honestly I don't know why some of you guys are saying Erling is better than Kun he only scores tap-ins and Kun scored almost every goal possible. He could dribble his way past defenders too, as for Erling if its not the perfect through ball or muscling his way through there isn'tmuch to his game is there besides reaching the ball with his elastic legs. It's Kun for me it'll always be him I don't care if Erling surpasses him with 50 tap-ins per season
Aguero and Haaland are different players with different strengths. Aguero could play in the false 9 position as he did under Pep which meant that City's attacking play was more fluid. Haaland on the other hand is a big guy. He doesn't drop deep as much but he is lethal as the typical number 9 because of both his size and speed. Both of these guys bring something different to the table.
I'd say the player that resembles Aguero in terms of play is Julian Alvarez.
I respect walker for saying Aguero right away. I think stones didn’t want to break either’s heart, but he should’ve said aguero for his legacy at city
Biggest regret for Walker. Playing for spurs
after that agueros goal the rise of man city started
Walker's Aguero admiration is beautiful. Haaland is a physical monster but Augero was technically vastly superior, we won't see players like that in the future they'll all be 6'5 can bench press a car and run 100 metres in 11 seconds
Why does Maguire doesn't give interviews🤔
Tottenham catching bullets🤣🤣
Better keep dave the cat away from zouma
at least ur ambitions are fulfilled
3:56
I d say give each 3 pints and sitt back.
I'm a city but I really don't know why I don't like Haaland...
Looking old now walker is. makes me feel old 😮💨
Hardly 😂
@@JG-dg6ty he’s hardly looking young though is he
He looks fine
@@alanedward4871 he definitely does look fine. Just trying to say I think he’s looking older now
Both the lads saying the ambition is UCL. Let’s win it then💙
Besties
what a silly question
Pls city we need start putting in a run of demolishing teams for like 15 games straight.
I say kdb over silva rn but if u asked me 7 months ago it’s silva
Goal wise Haaland is already outshining Augero
Because aguero wasn't a tap in merchant
@@NubiansNapata that's why they bought him and that's why I stated goals wise. At the end of the day they need goals, they got enough playmakers.
Come back after a decade. Kun was at the top every season for 10 years at City
Tbh Aguero became very injury prone with this current team. Prime Aguero had the likes of Barry, Lescott etc behind him while Haaland has KDB and Bernardo
@@varunkapoor04 I would say Prime Aguero had Silva & Toure behind him..
Walker England greatest right back don’t come with that Gary Neville bs if Walker was in his generation he’d skin him alive
u talking about spurs, walker? hahahaha
Poor editing. Not sure what the questions are.
This is so quite
