@@GMHikaruthx, waiting for the big Hikaru vs Magnus final😍
@@GMHikaru thanks and good luck to deafeat Ian Nepomniachtchi
@@justMORO630 We can only hope. The recent encounters have produced some interesting games.
Why not twitch🗿
Soon Levy will be a General Manager
I really hope he become a Grandmother soon
not funny anymore bot
@@gregoryfray4366 Ok NPC
🤣
@@gregoryfray4366 How dare you insult Gladius Maleficarum Levy
Because of the thumbnail I thought this was a video from Levy himself😂
Me too lol
Actually kind of brilliant of Hikaru since Levy gets more views than him. Make people think they are clicking on Levy to get more views
Hikaru using Levy’s signature stare at the beginning got me dying😂
Nah, Levy stares into your soul. Hikaru just judges you with his stare.
After years of getting farmed by Levy for content, finally Hikaru can reciprocate
Levy was just about to write down his last move to the Scores Sheet when Hikaru dropped the Video.
I just rewatched the beginning cuz of this lol
0:56 Levy became so strong he moves both the black and the white pieces.
😂😂
he should've said "it's a bit early for me here"
he's unstoppable 😂
Some good ol' DnD Suggestion spell
i cant wait to see levi become a fide grandma or whatever yall are talking about
Hikaru so humble he pretends to struggle against 2500 GMs lol
he's not saying that he'd struggle to play at all. he's saying that winning would be a struggle. because a 2500 is going to *tent* to know how to make a draw better than a 2150
bro is faster than the speed of light
I am going to premove that someone gonna say hikaru premove the recap
I genuinely thought it was Levy's video, untill I saw the channel name
Bro Fr the thumbnail seems such like a levy thumbnail
Levy clicking on this video faster than he can milk magnus😭🙏
We use the same thumbnail artist -- he started off with just me, then also joined Levy's team -- the editor
@@GMHikaru noice
i adore how supportive hikaru is of levy
I love thay Hikaru has turned the tables on Levy and breaks down all his games.
not hikaru using levy's stare and clickbait title 😭
Learned from the best 😂😂😂
Levy used to be a janitor at an old record shop I used to have in queens. He was a focused worker and I was impressed with his ethic but he eventually decided to leave for college. A great young man
Wow, what a cool story. Have consistently heard levy is a super humble guy. Wish him the best best!!!
@@akatzzki He is such a great man ♥
Reminder that Levi could actually look like the thumb nail if he spent as much time pumping iron as he does trying to go super plat in this ancient video game
The straight face two seconds before Hikaru starts cracks me up
Big rating difference, but a convincing win was needed and Levy delivered. Good stuff
Hikaru be premoving his recaps on levy 😂
But coach neiksan live streamed it😂😂
The title should be GM Hikaru is Back instead
"GM" Levy - the gift that keeps on giving 😆🤣
Appreciate the recaps. Good luck Hikaru!
love you bro, good luck
The “todaaaaaaayyyy’s video” intro is slowly coming back
thanks for putting up this game before your match. congrats on your win. you are so hardworking!
Great video, keep it up ❤
Ofc, Levi Rosemann be Levy Rozman again. 😂
Crushing! Cheers, Levy!
The game just finished 😭🙏🏼
hikaru quick af
Thanks for the analysis! Very instructive!
First time I saw GM Levy in print.
You won’t give Levy credit. He played who they paired him with. He dominated, as he should. Good victory.
I come mainly for the “welcome back everyone”
Bro hired Levy's thumbnail maker
𝙄𝙈 Hikaru Nakamura never fails to milk 𝙂rand𝙈other Levy Rosemom
after watching levy's analysis, i am really awestruck when hikaru casually sac s the white bishop to weave a mating net. wow
Good luck for nepos match , we're rooting for you hikaru!!
the one second death stare Hikaru gives me before welcoming me to the chess jungle.
Good luck this afternoon, Hikaru!
I suppose it's more important to think of the difference in ELO in reference to the ratio from 0 then.
Levy's opponent was playing like Andrea Botez😂
You got the score prediction spot on
I love the pause before he starts talking in each video lol
0:01
what did i do to you 😭
Hikaru getting better at click farming Levy than Levy is at farming Magnus 😂
I hope Levy can get that goal! :)
Psico llegaste a verlo en vivo??
I had to watch this twice because the first time I was too distracted by the bed-head.
Hikaru needs to use more thumbnails with levys face on em😂😂😂
thought Gotham uploaded this ngl; great video Hikaru
Hikaru premoving the recap
LEVY GM INCOMING!
Secret Agent Coach Nakamura back in business!
Levy shall one day become a Gumball Mastermind
I hope you get GM Title Levy Rozman!! Best of luck!!
Hikaru at 0:01=😐
Him at 0:02=😁
Bro why you stare at my soul for a second at the beginning at every single video. STOP
Hikaru Never Fail to Milk Levy
5%. GG Hikaru and Levy!
This is a hell of a time to be alive for new chess players with GMs analysing games and giving you insights; and being able to play anybody at any time from anywhere in the world.
When I was growing up I could only play against the computer on my Atari2600, and I'd be lucky to find a chess puzzle in the local newspaper..
I had trouble finding opponents among family, friends and neighbours because I was too good for casuals (and there was no club in my village). So I got a chess computer for christmas and it was fun for a while but ... well, at level 1&2 it did stange moves and blunders, at level 3 it was about my strength but it just could not calculate certain lines or more than 3 moves ahead and would fall for the same tricks over and over. So I moved to level 4 which was perfect difficulty for me - but it took as much time to make a move like humans in classic games once it left its opening library. If you gave it a puzzle and let it try to solve it on max level (8) you would get a result next day ...
@@Puschit1 I had no idea how to play chess when I got the game for the Atari, and I didn't even know what the pieces were called and I had the king and queen mixed up for years, thinking that the king must obviously be the one who could move all around the place, and the queen being a "woman" must be protected!
I just figured out how to play from trial and error, and copying the computer's moves, but it was frustrating because just when I was starting to figure it out, the computer would do something like queen-side castling and I'd be furious thinking that it was an illegal move.. And the first time I got hit with an en passant I was absolutely convinced that it was cheating.. until I realised could do it myself too!
But yea, I could never get any of my friends to play either, they were all more interested in playing football and digging holes in the ground and all that good stuff..
Nice touch using the correct pronunciation of fianchetto since it's an Italian tournament. No more fianCHEETOS for this week I guess...
As Italian, I appreciated it too.
That's a smooth, 🍟➡️🛍️ kinda win 👍
hikaru is having a bad day rn
1. bad hair day
2. no voice crack in the intro
3. no more views from levy collabs
The title is like Levy trolling Hikaru … IM Hikaru is back!!!!!
It makes so much sense that the intersection between chess and tennis is so large, because it's exactly the same in tennis -- the better you get, the smaller the differences between players are.
Know worries about the tongue tied moments Hikaru, we all know Nepo scares you :)
the premoving goes hard 😭😭
Bro the thumbnail made me think it’s levy’s video 😂 genius you earned my subscription
Hikarus hair... Man got laid before he recorded this one 💥
Welcome back everyone.
Hikaru and Gothamchess are competing to see who can milk other chess players the most.
Next thing we know magnus gonna be milking gotham too lol
love the levy recap videos. thanks!
GOOD LUCK ON YOUR MATCH HIKARU HOPEFULLY YOU CAN WIN
I was there and this is exactly what happened. I’m talking about the thumbnail
I swear I thought this was a Levy post just by the picture 😂
Sp- Spil- Espil- Spilinbergo
How are you so fast?
Wow still time for this recap while preparing for SCC.
Don't miss the opportunity to call him "International sensation" before he turns GM
Hikaru analyzing Levy's game right before winning his own quarter-final proves something amazing, I'm sure, but my 1600 elo brain can't figure out what it is.
FOR TOOOOOODAYSSSS VIDEO
😁😁😁
Hikaru pulled a levy
We will get GTA 7 before Levy GM😂
Bravo 👏
I started playing chess because of you about 4 months ago and my rating is now 1970 thanks to you.
good luck with nepo💞💞 we wanna see you in a final💪
I hope Levy will become Group Message soon
Soon levy will be a golden monk
Hikaru loves levy
Great review. As a 2100 (LiChess?!) player I find the little titbits that Hikaru drops are invaluable. Not the moves but the little bits of advice that come with the moves, including how difficult it is to beat a 2500 GM (and thus HN wisely avoids such opens, as they will simply eat into your Elo as you draw these GMs) and the move order titbits. Stuff like this you cannot easily find in books, which by and large are geared towards beginners. I wish Hikaru would do a more 'advanced' video one of these days, along the lines of what the GM Danny did in his great (but depressing, lol for a lower rated GM) book "Gormally, Daniel (2016). Insanity, Passion and Addiction - A Year Inside the Chess World"
The difference is due to logarithmic scale. Someone at 600 rating doesn’t know all the rules of the game, someone at a 1000 will win 100% of time. 1600 to 2000 difference is much smaller but same expected result . You need to win 100% of time as 2000, but sometimes, in some games, 1600 will know the opening or stumble on a very good move . 2400-2800 - these are all well versed players - chance to beat them drop dramatically- but expectation is still 100% win for higher rated . They know the openings, their tactics are good, they know middle game plans and they know the endings. You need to find what is their weak point and can’t guarantee to find it on request in 100% of games .
@@mstefa007 Interesting. you might have something there, for huge Elo gaps (like 1000 points). In general however Elo is not logarithmic. A difference of 300 points will allow a win for the higher rated player 85% of the time (draws counting 1/2 point) whether the players are 2300 vs 2000 or 2700 vs 2400. That's what the stats say. But at huge Elo differences I do believe I recall seeing some non-linear effects such as what you describe.
@@raylopez99it’s not really logarithmic. What is logarithmic is quantity of knowledge needed for each next 100 ELO points. You get 800 when you know how to mate more or less. A bit more, some opening principles and endings, and you’re at 1600-2000 . But then the increase of knowledge becomes game of diminishing results. You learn particular new strategy against isolated queen pawn- but you encounter it in one every 20 games. Or a particular rook ending, and you see it every few years. So you need to learn many many small details to advance another 100 points.
Good luck! Rooting for you!
Magnus just called you a 95% favorite against Nepo so you gotta live up to those expectations. Good luck for your match!
Can't wait for him to become Good Morning
The millennial pause is to assert his dominance
Hiraku never fails to milk Lavy...
Just like "lavy" does 😂😂😂
Epic thumbnail is epic! :D
Love the recap thank you
Levy will be a Grandmother soon enough.
