Jordan stated multiple times she did not like Amir and Jasmine was playing match maker instead of being a friend on vacation during season 1. Jordan isn’t jealous of Jasmine she was looking at the woman who used to be her friend who is now a mattress a maid and a mule.
I think Preston is for himself but just loves him some Jordan. I also think he saw how weird and toxic Silas was last season and quickly put distance in between them.
Jordan is absolutely jealous. Your synopsis is on point. IF they thought Silas was such an issue, why not check in on your friend? Why ditch her? Jordan said she wanted a man. Amir seemed like a good guy so jasmine tried to match make. After Jordan said she wasn’t interested, Jasmine continued to push bc she wanted to double date. Was she wrong, yes. But it wasn’t so egregious to no longer call her a friend. The jealousy runs deep and Preston sided with who he thought was pretty and who he thought the audience would side with.

I think that it was a mixture of too much time passing without a genuine conversation between jasmine and Jordan and group think. Bria, Jordan, Preston, and Shanice probably got together and wore jasmine out and made her the villain. I don’t think jasmine was the worst thing in the world but I understand Jordan maybe thinking I don’t want to be your friend anymore because you let this man change your personality/ you are changing your personality to be with this man.
We also have to think about the fact that Silas did not like Jordan. He probably drove a wedge between their friendship when he saw a crack. Why would Jordan a single woman deal with a friendship that no longer involves you and your friend. It’s you your friend and her toxic husband that doesn’t like you. Jordan was right to run.
