One of the last handful of shows I caught before everything shut down was a tour these guys were doing.... I miss live music, shits a drag. Go figure, as soon as I move to a city with a constant stream of tours rolling through (Austin, TX)... The god damn world shuts down.
I love me some Stevie vox but holy shit there's something about Michael's technique that has me shivering anytime I hear his work. Keep up the good work man!

I'm pretty sure I was at this show. Maybe there are a lot of venues that look the same but I swear at least part of this was filmed in SLC on the tour where they opened for Beyond Creation. Equipoise put on such a good show, and the FLUB guy did a great job fronting the band, though I did miss the original vocalist. I miss seeing shows so much, hope y'all can get back to touring again soon!

Bass is fretless, those are just fret lines. As for the whammyless guitar, well you are correct haha. When he played Phil's solos live, he just supplemented it with vibrato and bends instead.

Stevie wasn't available to tour, and Dylan did us the kind service of filming this awesome video. Michael understandably wanted to not be miming the vocals, so he swapped his in.
@@Skepsis710 No, it's okay lol, you were correct. Michael did this tour, our three days in Cali with The Kennedy Veil and Flub, and our five days in Mexico with The Faceless and Origin. Stevie was unfortunately just available for our five days in Canada with Beyond Creation, Wormhole, and Exist. Hopefully he'll be free for the future ones though!
@@Skepsis710 trust me, we've had that discussion big time about an Artisan tour type thing. It just sucks because the touring industry is so shaken up now with all this shit going on. Visas are gonna be more expensive now for international bands, i think there was something about live nation hiking prices or some shit like that, venues closing down left and right? I mean it's an absolute mess. Not to mention that for as long as there's social distancing, turnout will be dramatically reduced for shows. I've only done one full tour, but i can say that if turnouts were like some of the smaller shows on our tour, we and every other band trying to tour would be more than likely financially fucked. I really hope there's some normalcy again in the future, cause it's hella depressing.
Plus I wanna see sick shows again too! The last show I got to see thankfully was Gorod, so that makes me happy.

No singer change, this was just for a string of live shows where Michael Alvarez (vocalist for Flub and formerly Alterbeast) subbed for Stevie and they mixed his live vocals with the instrumental. Did the same thing for their Squall of Souls video.
This flub guy is waaaay weaker.

@@18is3sixes The squall of souls video is me as well. not Kyle Anderson from Brand of Sacrifice. I can see the confusion that we are both brown skin with dreadlocks but dude looks absolutely nothing like me and has a totally different body shape haha also we have way different vocal styles as well
