The Animation was Limited for the Most part (exept for episodes like 6 or 7). Because of the schedule and they were understaffed. It's 4 parts. So the schedule is better for them (and they aren't probably understaffed) . That's why they said cour 2 would look better

The animation for the most part was very limited expect for ep 6 and some of 7 I even heard some guys saying it was better than csm when it was not even close. Hopefully they will make it even better. There is alot of still shots with moving fabric and less of actual moving parts and characters so thats what people wanna see. I honestly dont care either way as long as the story is good and they dont delay it =) If they can tone down on the bloom effect i think it might help abit though lol
The guy that Kenpatchi killed was the ywatch lookalike’s twin brother. The one kenpatchi fought mimics the looks and powers of who they want and the one yamma fought mimics the looks and memories of who they want. They are both the shcrift of yourself

But yes, besides the cut comic content, there is a cut in specific lore dumps too, possibly because of time limitation since the whole cour was choke full of lore every minute. Couldn't they make it like 16 episode or something like that? Because the pacing was RAPID. But oh well, cant complain after getting to watch it comeback after FLIPPING 10- years!

I loved the "flashbacks" to the original anime, I always held back a tear once I saw a character in their original early bleach animation style and then to see them yassified in todays style T_T just perfection.
Also the way they brought back Kon, but muted him down to 5%? Just enough to feel the nostalgia and not to trigger cringe. And the way the world looks so alive, sky and cities look so real, and all the particles, absolute chefs kiss.

I truly fucking love how it feel like this series matured with us. I watched this in High School as it was coming out and I’m 30 now and the show matches that. Best anime of all time
Also the "in between infos" (dunno how to call them) contains information that supplements the anime lore. For example in the manga Mayuri pointed out how Ikkaku's bankai was pieced together but doesnt hold the same power anymore and the segments of Renji's bankai that were permanently shattered and cant be restored but ij the anime they cut that part and put it in the "in between infos" of the episode without translation. I blame Viz for not translating it immediately (they already did post it in twitter but it was too late) for the foreign consumers of the show it would be a better experience if they did.

The old bleach was also insanely good.....coming from watching naruto, one piece and the lot i felt the pacing in bleach was intensely good.....like we know ichigo is an op character but he still feels like an underdog which is very hard to accomplish story wise as evident in opm or mob psyco. There are so many side characters with pronounced development it feels closer to natural story telling.....one piece tried this, naruto tried this but its like the main character ended up eclipseing everyone. It even happens in bleach but side character develop enough to achieve something really significant. Iwas literally hooked to bleach and finished from the beginning to the 1000 year war arc in like 1.5 weeks lmao

At 8:59, Kenpachi's enemy wasn't the same as the copycat who fought Yamamoto. Kenpachi fought Royd Lloyd, the twin brother of Loyd Lloyd. Both have the same Schrift, but with slightly different abilities. It wasn't really explained in the anime, but it was shown in the little character-card cutaway after Kenpachi threw down the bodies.
I’m so glad that people are finally giving Bleach the credit that it’s due! I’m in my 30’s I’ve literally been watching Bleach since I was in Highschool in about I believe I want to say 2006 or somewhere around there. But I’ve always loved me some Bleach. Out of the Big 3 it’s my favorite without a shadow of a doubt it is! And my favorite character in Bleach is Shunsui Kyoraku the current Head Captain. *KINDA SPOILERS BUT KINDA NOT BUT KINDA IS LOL*.
But Shunsui gets a major moment to shine when they get to the Soul King’s Palace. And if that moment is animated exactly like the manga it will be badass!!! But that’s all I’ll say about that lol.
Shunsui has just too much class. I liked him ever since he fought Chad and offered him alcohol immediately lol
I'm in my late 20s and watched/read Bleach in 7th grade. Literally my childhood. It used to be at the bottom of my list of the big 3 until I rekindled my love for it again. And realized just how many more Bleach characters I like than Naruto characters (which is like 4 tops)

I was blown away by the TYBW anime. It feels like Tite Kubo is taking this opportunity to tell the story properly without Jump breathing down his neck or worrying about weekly rankings. You're right, the narrative flows so much better, it's easier to digest and the anime doesn't make explanations seem ludicrously rushed like the manga. It all just makes sense and clicks. Plus the animation is god-tier. For the first time in so many years, it feels so good to be a Bleach fan.
It's not good, ITS FREAKING CRAZY!! The animation soothes the eye and voice acting is goated.

But The Show couldn't get more consistent because of producing 50 episodes (although they have a 6 months gap between each cour) and also a tight schedule (at least for cour 1 idk) and being understaffed a little bit
i've just finished watching episode 7, and man... i don't want to stop but it's almost 2am now and i have to sleep.
the animation is phenomenal, i the fancy effects the powers now have have grown on me quite a bit. it contrasts beautifully with the dark atmtosphere.
love the fact that it feels like things are constantly evolving, like the anime has no time to waste.
I loved every second of the 1000 years blood wars and it would really be a banger if they were to do the whole bleach series from start like this animation with no fillers. that would be sick!
If Kubo got them to go back and give it the FMA: Brotherhood treatment that works be amazing!

I think its cool that when the Series started, everybody thought there was only one Quincy left, but over time, it was revealed there was Quincies in hiding. Very cool.

Honestly, my favourite change is the blood, there was 0 blood in Bleach before TYBW, a character could literally have half of their entire torso obliterated and not have a single drop of blood come out, but now there is quite a lot of blood, which i like, I mean have you seen how good the Zaraki vs Unohana fight was?

I love them as well. However, I can appreciate them getting cut out to try to keep the tone consistent.
I don't mind goofy scenes, but when the tone of the show comes off very serious, they become a bit too jarring for me.
When Ichigo and Uryu tried to kill the Menos
If it we're any other arc, I could tolerate them (not a big fan of them), but when we talking about TYBW, this was REALLLY something that needed to be lessened and thank God they did.
This was a straight labor of love by everyone involved.
I only read the manga into half way into TYBW before deciding to stop since Kubo is adding new material and working directly with the staff to get the best adaptation they can.
I love how, to me at least, this adaptation feels just like it’s directly from the manga, the art and even the pacing when binging. Very different from the the original anime episodes adapted I’ve seen at least But somehow takes it to 11 to be better than source material. And it’s just amazing to watch happen

Been looking forward to seeing Yamamoto's Bankai being animated for years. I was NOT disappointed.
Not gonna lie right after you mentioned it airs in a midnight slot and that Quincy had his head blown off, I couldn't not laugh my ass off, editing is really good. I really like watching these kinds of videos, Bleach holds a very special place in my heart and seeing it coming back with such a powerful kick off couldn't make me happier. I watched this all growing up as it was coming out and then now here I am 10 years later doing it all over again but with much much more detail, colour, animation, and character appreciation. I fucking LOVE Bleach
When Bleach came out I was too busy in college and working. I missed a lot of shows during that time. I started Bleach just over a year ago but took a break when I hit the part where they are in Hueco Mundo and go right into a filler arc in the middle. I was so put off by that interruption it took several months to go back.
I didn't skip episodes like my friends suggested, I just conserved my time better, cut intros, outros, and about 4 minutes every episode of recaps. That made every episode only 15 minutes. I finished it with about 8 months to go for Thousand Year Blood War. I didn't expect it to be THIS good. Watching this reminded me of how I felt the first time I watched Fate/Stay Unlimited Bladeworks. There's so much *eye candy*. It's beautifully done.

His name is yhwach Bach, (yuu-ha-baach-hah), for whatever reason they never spell out the full “bach” portion so the B is a curveball and sometimes and an extra wah or kah at the end for yuu-ha-baach-hahwah or yuu-ha-baach-hahkah, probably related to the context of the line itself

You know I would love to see more of the universe Fullmetal was set in, like it doesn't even have to follow Ed and Al it can all be completely new but seeing a more modern animation in that universe would probably be my favorite thing in anime in a long time...
The thing that impressed me the most is how they flipped the show on its head in terms of how dark it is. In the og show no one really died or was in real danger but within 8 minutes they slap u am it hits.

I actually REALLY enjoyed Aizen, and the Arrancar Arc as a whole. Especially the part where he reveals everything relating to Ichigo as a soul reaper was planned. Maybe it's because I was asking a lot of questions when watching that were answered in that scene. I always appreciate villains like Aizen.
I watch the entire one hour video thanks to insomnia and i don't regret anything.

I had dropped Bleach while I was in collage when Ichigo was still going after the Espada, after seeing the ratings of thousand-year blood war I restarted from start and finish it today
It's quite apparent now in the 2020s that Bleach was probably significantly held back by the anime and Shonen Jump.
I heard through the grapevine that parts after Soul Society arcs that dragged, such as Hueco Mundo and Fake Karakura town, had many long "fluff" or "filler" fights imposed on Kubo because of Jump. Why you might ask? Because so many characters were introduced in the Soul Society arc that Shonen Jump pushed very hard for further encounters and fights from these characters despite Kubo having no original plans as such. Especially in the Fake Karurkura Town arc, that's why there are so many "fluff" or "filler" fights that drag, such as Sgt. Kulhorn and the many individual Arrancar fights in the Fake Karakura Town arc that either should have been significantly shortened down if not outright removed to improving pacing and story focus for the arc.
The second issue was the anime for multiple reasons. Most noticeable is filler. While not as bad a s say Naruto filler, over 40% of the Bleach anime was filler. Kubo was VERY ahead of his time and not until the likes of JJK and Chainsaw man would we see the more mature edgy and dark type of Shonen being made during the 200s when Kubo was making Bleach. That's why the anime was working against Bleach. The bount arc was too long, too dragged out, and involved something of no significant importance right after the most well known and hyped arc of Bleach. The timing of later filler was also terrible. Interrupting dad stop such as the Grimjow vs Ichigo fight for a "replacement 3rd squad captain" arc as one example was just TERRIBLE timing for very long filler. The only redeeming factor of the filler is that compared to most anime filler, some Bleach filler was fire. The Zampaktou Rebellion arc is legit my standard for filler in anime, very very interesting premise exectuted very well. If only it didn't interrupt the start of the Fake Karakura Town arc (again timng),
Now in the 2020s with Bleach returning, with all the previous BS in prior decades gone, we are seeing just how ahead of his time Kubo was and with his vision fully realized the way he envisioned with TYBW arc of Bleach, a Shonen battle anime started about 2 DECADES ago is top tier 2020s anime material, I the same year Bocchi the Rock and FREAKING CHAINSAW MAN came out. It's at least top 5 if not top 3 on most popularity and viewership polls for 2022 from an anime that is NEARLY 2 DEADES OLD!
You don't just accomplish this unless you had something super ahead of your time going for you. I sure hope TYBW arc continues to have anime changes going forward to make the final arc much more satisfying than the manga ended up being.

my favourite thing about bleach is that Ichigos power comes from his understanding of himself, for me it gives a great alternative to the typical shounen format of just working super hard (which is still great)
His journey is also about self discovery & protecting those in need. 👍🙏

I only had to wait about half a year for the comeback (but it took 5 years and 4 different streaming services to watch it until then thanks to the rights in germany being sold off every 4 months) and it was honestly the best thing I have ever seen in Anime. Some of those shots and fights we get had me actually scream from exitement and at moments I almost started crying bc I couldn't cope with how awesome something I saw was. I am beyond hyped for cour 2, only a month to wait now!

im so happy bleach is getting the recognition it deserves, the fact that i still see people say it doesnt belong in the big 3 is disturbing but this new arc is pulling in new viewers who were sort of on the edge. bleach was the first anime i saw back in middle school and i have yet to watch anything better in the 7 years since then.
The fact that Yachiru even has a shikai exemplifies just how ridiculous Kenpachi really is.

Btw I know it was not explained at all in the anime but the are two twins with the names Loyd Lloyd and one is named Royd Lloyd, they have the same schrift "Y" the yourself. Loyd is the older brother however weaker because his power is to replicate the powers and spiritual pressure of a person while Royd replicates the memories and personality of that person, meaning he has to be way stronger as he does not get their powers or abilities. So while Loyd was out destroying soul reapers and ultimately dies to the hands of kenpachi, Royd was standing in for Yhwach. They are not the same person.
The ost is by far my favorite part of new bleach. The remade music goes so hard.
