    I spent more than half a day searching the components of the motherboard for the cause of the problem, and I watched many videos to no avail until I watched this video and the problem was solved, thank you.

    Just reseating the CPU fixes issues. And if you have an lga1700 you might want to invest in a CPU straightener like the thermal grizzly one.
    Telling a bunch of novices to brush their CPU pins is just going to void a lot of warranties.

    • @ImWateringPSUs
      @ImWateringPSUs  Před rokem +6

      Unfortunately if there are micro bends or the top of pins is slightly covered by dirt, reseating the CPU won't fix it but a brush will, as this was the case. However, I do agree this is not for novices!

    • @tacticalcenter8658
      @tacticalcenter8658 Před rokem +1

      @@ImWateringPSUs when you remove the CPU cover there shouldn't be any dirt. Then put in the CPU. If you take it out cover it back up and put in ESD bag.
      Never gets dirt in it. Unless you wash the motherboard, that's a different story ;)

      @@DarrellVermilion Bryan from Tech Yes City used to recommend it in one of his can yes fix it episodes. I've done it with success a few times over the years, it doesn't work all the time but it does work. I'd say it's 50% microbends and 50% the pins that need some scrubbing!

      The reason why I’m fixing the socket with the brush is that the PC wouldn’t boot with the RAM in the right slots
