Thank you friend! My B channel didn't work. I cleaned my CPU and saw there was thermal paste on the CPU contact and wiped that off and all my channels worked again.

Just reseating the CPU fixes issues. And if you have an lga1700 you might want to invest in a CPU straightener like the thermal grizzly one. Telling a bunch of novices to brush their CPU pins is just going to void a lot of warranties.
Unfortunately if there are micro bends or the top of pins is slightly covered by dirt, reseating the CPU won't fix it but a brush will, as this was the case. However, I do agree this is not for novices!
@@ImWateringPSUs when you remove the CPU cover there shouldn't be any dirt. Then put in the CPU. If you take it out cover it back up and put in ESD bag. Never gets dirt in it. Unless you wash the motherboard, that's a different story ;)

What if all channels work the old Ram stick but system won't boot up when a new Ram stick ( same model & frequency) is added?? What could be the issue??

Hey bruh mine A1 and A2 slots working,but b1 and b2 slots not working like it's not booting up,it's keep restarting the cpu after every 10-11 seconds when ram is connected to b1 or b2 slot..and Ram stick RGB lights are working but it won't booted...what could be the issue?

bro pls ,for past 2months my all slots where working just fine until last 15 days i noticed my pc started frezzing and craching ,so after a loong investigating i found out that my A2 slot is the problem so now im only using b2 (single channel) is this methode gonna halp me ,or do u have other methods pls

What if it works in dual channel, but can't raise to 6000 mhz? Have a 6000 ram and the default is 4800. Won't boot with xmp or higher frequency. Bad ram??
This ishappening to me right now. I think my pins are bent on my motherboard CPU socket... which is causing only the 2 right RAM slots to work, luckily im eligible for a refund so im good but man this shit is not straight forward lol.

I have the same exact issue with my Asrock Z370 Extreme 4 motherboard. I haven't used the MB since December 30, 2022, since I was waiting for other components to arrive. A1 and A2 are not working, and I can only boot when I insert the ram stick on B1 or B2. I will try this method this weekend and see if it will work! Any explanation you can provide as to why brushing the CPU pins will solve the problem?
At first I laughed when I saw this video, but I came across it because while cleaning the computer from dust, one channel of RAM stopped working and the computer stopped to POST. I reset the BIOS, removed the DIMMs, graphics card, backup battery, cleaned everything and reinstalled it one by one. Nothing helped. I read the comments under this video and tried it. After removing the processor, I did this thing with this brush, installed the processor with new paste and... VOILA! Everything works like boom, tick, tick! Two DIMM channels are working properly! THANK YOU!

@@DarrellVermilion Bryan from Tech Yes City used to recommend it in one of his can yes fix it episodes. I've done it with success a few times over the years, it doesn't work all the time but it does work. I'd say it's 50% microbends and 50% the pins that need some scrubbing!

Or you can throw the mainboard against the wall. Maybe the Ram falls out and goes into the right slots by itself.

Absolutely! Give it a shot and let me know! Usually it’s either the tip of the socket that slightly full of dust/paste or microbends that get fixed

@ImWateringPSUs found out it was from the aio being too tight which is weird because i have to have the top screws loose.
