I’m 60 and I wish that my parents would have come together and been United in faith and love for God. My dad was famous in the occupation that he ultimately chose and the adulation and constant attention that he received from other women became like a drug for him. His high, the adrenaline he experienced whenever he was in public and around people who admired and adored him made him feel powerful and made him become extremely self-absorbed. He allowed the attention from other people; especially other women to over power him to the point that he let go of my mom and our family to pursue “his selfish dreams.” I hope that the 2 of you will always choose each other no matter what temptations you might face. My dad is almost 87 and he has nothing…..he lost everything. What a beautiful couple you are with 2 adorable boys…..hold tight to each other (first) and then you will hold tight to them. My parents were married 23 years when they divorced And before my mom passed away at 83 years old she continued to weep about her broken marriage to my dad. She loved him with all of her heart and unfortunately he loved only himself. Be kind to each other every single day…❤️
Vickie your comment has touched my heart. I am 47 years and have been unhappily married literally my entire marriage. I have 2 kids that I adore. We stay together for the sake of our family. My husband has not been emotionally available nor has he invested in our marriage. We are just roommates and it just feels like we are running a business. We are both believers in the Lord but have a broken marriage. I gave up on him but feel hopeful that God will heal my broken heart and help me forgive him for not investing in us. We’ve been married almost 24 years and I was only happy the first 3 years of our marriage. He was also very self absorbed. My biggest fear is having a broken heart like your mom and never recovering from the loss.
Wow, I hope you can forgive your dad. This life is so temporary you know. Do the small acts of kindness that nobody knows about. I understand your mom's heartbreak. Your dad did not follow the written word it sounds like.

What a beautiful story
My parents have been married nearly 63 years and they have lots of ups and downs but as their youngest son I’m still in awe of this dedication and only wished I could have achieved the same for my children.
I do believe that there is that one true love that we come across in our lifetime and when that happens no one will ever stop their love from blossoming and that certainly completes their journey once they meet then it takes one heck of courage for someone else to come between them but unfortunately this does happen in our lifetime and is sad and such a pity especially when innocent children are involved ❤
Thank you God, that you put these two wonderful people (celebrities) together to show that your way can be a great way!! I’m single and have been forever, but I’m glad to see this. Pray for you both and your family. 💕💕

@@mariaemeliacantero4891 Every person is given a measure of faith. The word of God Jesus' words is what they need and an encounter with God. I've had glimpses of Jesus and I will never be the same. He is so so beautiful. As people of God we can fill ourselves with Him and pour out to others but we all need to go back to Him to fill us up.

I think it’s awesome that the Lord is giving you the strength to be open and honest with the public and you’re in the eye of everyone on a daily basis. There’s so many eyes looking at you and waiting and wanting you to fail. But the way I see it is we are all sinners saved by grace. An seeing that the Lord is number one in your life and your families life is an awesome encouragement to me and my family and my boys. People forget that you guys are just every day people like we are you just had a lot more responsibilities because the guy is on you daily. But that doesn’t mean you’re still not human. Thanks for being a great role models as a husband and wife to us watching.

It’s the “Trust God’s Judgment” for me
It’s amazing how many differences we may have as Christians, like Carrie being a vegan vs. people like Phil Robertson and myself who believe after the flood the lord made animals wild and so made it that we were meant to eat them, but also respect them and cause no undue suffering to them. But then at the end of the day still have fellowship we do over our belief and love for our lord and savior, regardless of differences in matters of the world.

I fell in love ❤with her before Mike did. At first I thought he was some kind of Public Relations campaign.
I loved ❤her with all my heart ❤️. I told her I loved her every day. We inspired each other’s songs. I did not date anyone else..
I waited on my woman. I was serving God and waiting to marry Carrie.
Then one day she announced at the Opry that she had gotten married. I had like 4th row and I was kind of stunned. I had called her VM every day. How could it be?

It hurt soo bad to lose her 12 years ago! I cried so hard and prayed for strength.
When I had heard he cheated (supposedly) I thought well that’s it!
We will finally be able to get married! I had a “Carrie” telling me she was mine and that she loved me! We even took online vows!

I started praying for my miracle Grandson's future wife when I found out my daughter and son-in-law were expecting. After 3 miscarriages, it took 18 years for him to come, But God(Love those words) is Faithful. Curtis Daniel Wheeler was born 12/05/2021. I love being a Nana!

Words are Powerful ..... when you keep saying things you reach lost sheep. And what just came to mind is how the Bible speaks of how difficult it will be for the rich man to get into heaven one day. (Paraphrasing) Believe God is strongly leading this wealthy couple to lead others to Christ. I can relate to this video though I'm not wealthy. Example of How God is moving: there was a time (before my identity theft) I was suddenly wealthy ..... was @ this service station saw a man going through the trash barrel. Thought I'm going to go give him money .... didn't know how he would respond. Well I was right! walked over there with $5 suddenly he verbally lashed out @ me. "are you kidding I don't want your money do you see what's in this ....." pointing down in the trash can. He grabbed a can .... freaked out and remembered seeing the same male suddenly pop out after dark from behind a different service station plastic grocery bags full of stuff hanging off the bike handles. However, point of my story: years later that same male was my neighbor. One night in 7 below zero weather I headed out to 'Salvation Army' store. And the store was practically empty (I thought) suddenly from around the corner of an aisle there was my prior neighbor. As his mother had passed and the home was sold. He smiled @ me and there was great light! God works in mysterious ways ..... prayed for that person many times. Especially after he had to move and was not happy ..... keep sharing the Faith. And understand the video is not about the homeless. God is moving to reach lost sheep for there are many.Trust God
You have a perfect marriage when it is imperfect. That is what life and marriage are "imperfect". Everything would be better if labeling did not exist. God does not see labels of any kind. God just forgives imperfections.

Vegan/Vegetarian thing would be tough on any dude. That’s on top of her traveling/performing. I have family that are adventist and eat tofu. It’s good and I’ll eat it occasionally but no I’m eating beef. It sounds like she has PTSD from childhood witnessing how we get beef. I wish my brother Mike the best on this marriage.
