Great job Rod !!! Great to see Yamaha bring something new into the market. Just not sure the $115K for the SE is the right price point. Loved the helm but the rest of the boat is a bit boring.

I think your image stabilization must have been turned off.

Hmm, even if I had over $100k to spend on a boat I'd want at least a few more things. Like a built-in mount for a bow mounted trolling motor for fishing, the ability to enclose the cockpit area (at least from the bow to keep off spray) and a little bit more enclosed storage (under the seating areas maybe?).

It seems very light? How do you feel that is handles the chop?

It handled great. We were very impressed. Nice entry. Cut through the chop. Great in turns. It'll work well on Lake Michigan.

Still seems loud (as the older models). Is it?

Lean Locker it seemed less to us, but tested comparable to the 242 series.

That was an awful lot of wheel input to keep it straight, I know that’s a trait of jet boats but man, I hate that.

Sorry you did not like it. We just wanted to get a little more info out there. Yamaha has a professional video on their CZcams page you may want to check out. Happy Boating!
