Garten answered questions about her successful ventures in retail, television and publishing as well as her life as a mother, wife and home cook. This is a MYTH! Never happened! Give her some credit . . . don't throw her under the bus on a rumor . . . get your facts straight. The kids parents were shysters and did this for the publicity.

I liked Ina Garten until I heard she refused to meet a dying child. Her excuse being she gives to charity all year long and simply cannot fulfill every request made of her. Seriously though how many requests from dying children does she get?! I think her reasoning is bullshit. I have thrown out her books and will no longer be watching her show!
