I'd liked to think it's because in the aquarium hobby, we're constantly asking questions, given tips for what we've learned, looking for inspiration for the next set up, latest gear in the hobby, new fish and plants we may not have seen or had any idea what to do with them. Basically, we're a big happy family looking to help one another and the hobby continue to grow and innovate.
Thank you for these videos! Not only do I get to enjoy seeing your tanks but there's guaranteed to be at least a couple of laughs in each one. You really know how to put them together (the videos AND the fish tanks!)

MD Fish Tanks ah but that’s the thing, you have introduced so many types of tanks and fish, I’m not sure which way to go. I’m going to wait till you’ve finished all your tanks esp the kids choice tank before I make my plunge 😄

Another great video man. Iv been watching for about 4-5 months now, its been so much fun being able to watch this whole shed project come to life. Love that your hands on / DIY orientated ! The way i see it is if your not going to have a red hot go at it yourself then why bother doing it at all ey ? This videos perfect timing, the fish shop called today and my ADA tank has finally arrived. So its sitting in a box behind me ready to start scaping on the weekend!

Your my absolute favorite chanel on any platfourm, you do such a good job mixing elements into your videos to make them so entertaining and educational to your viewers, I know I've learned alot watching your videos.
I normally don't comment but have to say a big thumbs up bro. You keep it real and that alone keeps many people coming back. Too many people are afraid of showing a something that isn't photoshop perfect. I love the fact that you openly show that not all tanks are picture perfect and that it is totally ok because that is real life.Thanks for keeping it real. Keep up the awesome work !

A tip I recommend with the Oase Biomaster filters is to swap out those fine cylinder sponges on the pre-filter for their 30PPI sponges. They clog far too quickly and the flow drops extremely fast. The flow in my planted tank was like a mouse dribbling after 1 week from cleaning. I even drilled more holes in the tube that they slide over. I don't understand why Oase did it like that because they put coarse sponges in the main filter along with a fine sponge, but it's not doing anything other than wasting biological media space - same with those plastic hel-x things - waste of time in a static environment. Other than those things, it's a super quiet and efficient filter.
You know a lot of people say they don’t like Algae, but it’s not always all bad. I know someone with a shell dweller cichlid tank, and they got a real bad black beard algae outbreak and just left it. It can in some scenarios add a real nice touch. As it does for the shell dweller tank. Obviously in a typical planted aquarium something like black beard algae is the bane of our existence. Also MD thanks for the super kind words. We benefit from your videos just as much as you benefit from us watching. It’s a mutually beneficial arrangement. Keep up the good work!
I had 6 saucer size turtles when I was a kid, I had to do water changes everyday and change the filter twice a day!! On a four foot tank that’s a lot of work!!! In the end I had to give them away 😢 with school and I had so many other animals (Gerald durrell was my inspiration) I didn’t have the time. Looking forward to seeing yours though 👍🏻

not good. I think it's just a case of making him comfortable... he's over 2 years old so could be age. Tested the water many times now. Lots of water changes and aquarium salts, anti parasite, melafix....nothings helping.
MD Fish Tanks try feeding him medicated food. 1/8 of each antibiotic, metroplex, and a wormer mixed into the food with a little bit of water to soak it and mix it up. Feed for a month. Should get better.
MD I really enjoy your videos, you're really inspiring. I've started with one tank and have plans for so many more thanks to you and a few others. I'm still learning about how to create an ideal planted tank as I've not had much luck with plant growth in the past. I've never had a green thumb lol but i'll keep trying. Could you possibly do a video of tips for planted tanks for beginners like what kinds of plants are easier to start with? Really looking forward to seeing the paludarium build. Just a thought, and probably not a good one, but hey I'll throw it out there anyways. I was wondering if you ever thought of setting up something up where your followers could post photos of their tanks? Maybe get suggestions about scaping, plants, fish, equipment, etc, either from yourself or other hobbyists. Not sure what kind of platform you could or would use for such a thing, and probably would amount to a billion hours of work for you, but it might be a neat idea to create an even greater community feel for those that follow you.
So sorry to hear about the loss of little Chocolate. That feeling of not knowing what happened is so frustrating. I just recently experienced a similarly frustrating and sad loss of my HMPK betta, Steve. My thoughts are with you! It is definitely part of the hobby, but definitely a disappointing and aggravating part.

When you set up those oase canisters I really recommend filling two of the trays with ceramic media and then leaving the bottom tray for the sponges, so it goes mechanical and bio bio. I really find this works a lot better as they come with too much sponge.

Oh waterfall, I've been looking into different build options for a waterfall. Will be pealed to that one. So who won the ugly fish challenge? 😜 I want to do a black and white hardscape tank for some black and white mollies, love the contrast of the lava rock and white sand so I've a feeling I'm gonna love this new set up. 👍

A Lot of recommendations about an Axolotl tank is, no fish and no wood.
I haven't had any of those things in my Axolotl aquarium, so I can't say my opinion on it, but I think there's a reason of some sort for the recommendations.... 🤔
But I love you videos, this was just an head's up about the care guidelines for that type of amphibian.

That tiny dehumidifier is prob going to fill up very fast like every 12 to 24 hours. you could attach a drain pipe to the collection container and send the water outside or mount the unit above a tank and drain it back into a tank to recycle the water.
been 2 days now and it's half full. Not a lot of evaporation in my studio thankfully :)

I know im a bit behind but i wanted to comment on the lost of your goldfish, chocolate. What you described sounds a whole lot like the little guy was suffering from bloat, where there s a fluid build up around the internal organs. I just lost a gourami under same circumstances ..nothing you could have done to prevent or fix it.
