Those rogue police officers didn't even seem to care who was observing them. Authority often corrupts and emboldens some individuals.
Maybe they were lucky that no one else wasn't witnessing or even if there were, they propably would have made sure that people are scared enough not to record the evidence or not intervening.

Using the law, harming a person, using foul language and taking something without its owners permission and robbing his money as a cop, has a 20+ years of prisson considering breaking the rules.
Aftermath: “Luis’s story reached the LAPD and the FBI who investigated the two officers. After interviewing several other people who have been ripped off by these officers and watching CCTV footage and the cops bodycam videos, the two crooked cops were promptly arrested and charged with several civil rights violations, federal law enforcement offences, robbery, and abuse of power. The woman is so kind hearted and we really do need more people like her in this world of today. Less people like those officers. I never heard of two BAAAAAAAAAAAAAD officers before. on the day before the trial of the 2 corrupt police officers, the chief of police walks in to meet both police officers, who are in their prisoner clothes in their prison cells. and he looks... pretty disappointed at them.
"you two are unbelievable! the nerve that you two had to commit this act of heinousness behind my back."
"Sir, what we trying to do is what we think is-" police officer 1 said, but was cut off by the chief of police.
"you may think it's right, but it's not." the chief of police said. "what you both did was unforgivable. and to think that i gave you both your start in your police career, AND THIS IS HOW YOU THANK ME?! just because we're cops doesnt mean that you could abuse that power, you nitwits!"
"but sir-" police officer 2 said, but was also cut off by the chief of police.
"but, nothing!" the chief of police said. "I hope that whatever the judge decides to do with you both, I will make sure that justice will be rightfully served. and you can stop dreaming about getting bailed out, because after what you both did... your family members would see you as a disgrace... and a liability to the bloodline. have a nice life, you two."
the video ends with the chief of police walking away from the cells, while both officers sobed in regret. but all and all, its too late.
