  • The Best Tiny DSLR camera fir the money I'd say. March 2008, Nikon Literally nailed it with the Nikon D60, this 10.2 MegaPickle CCD powerhouse. 3 focus pians, SD card compatible, 3 Frames per second but don't be fooled, this Camera is amazing !
Come on a photowalk, see some images for yourself and take a look at the awesome vibes this DSLR can produce.

I have a D60 also. The D40 (which I also have) is similar in size. The D40 is a 6 megapixel where the D60 is a 10 megapixel. Best of luck in your photography journey.
    Best,
    Duane

I've had it since 2008. Broken and miraculously repaired. Endless battery. Fantastic colors. I will never sell it.

Ha , it’s funny. I have a stack of cameras, film and Dig, by the exit to my house, to be grabbed and taken at any moment. The D60 with a 50mm prime…. Well she gets chosen over say, the Fuji XT or the Canon G ?! Not sure why, the colours, the ease of use or just the familiarity. Either way I love the D60. Cheers for the moments mate

What was the difference when they put a x on the model number, the color orange outside was a bit much. That sooc? Or can be adjusted

Nice video and explanation about the camera. Just wanted to ask are those colors SOOC or have you edited them in Lightroom or applied any filters?

Great question ! I ran the images through Lightroom AUTO adjust only , no presets applied. Tends to drop the contrast and exposure, saturation increased slightly ! The red leaves , adjusted the temp to 6000 daylight warm ! Rest is standard ! The only camera that I’ve used that delivers direct from camera that I have … the Fuji XT10

2008 $1,000 is equal to about $1,800 in today's money. I bought mine with the two kit lens and a bag and miscellaneous for a bit over $1,000 and still shoot with it.

I think you’re referring to LIVE-VIEW, the picture will be shown with the D60 after you’ve taken the photo …. Live view options start with the D300 has live view ;-) weather sealed body and 12.3 mp but no CCD sensor ! Still a great option ;-)
