I am proud to be a fan of Ian Somerhalder ;) Many people might have criticized Fifty Shades of Grey Trilogy, specifically Christian Grey, because of BDSM. Come to think of it, CG might be into BDSM, but his company does stuff that'll care about the environment and the people.
I am actually very pleased to say that I was the last of the generations who played out on the streets, 👍😊 played tag, made dens, loved making dens, and you'd need a password. I don't know who's idea it was to start with but my my cousins, sister and I would put on performances, we did our very own Spice Girls singing and dancing, I was always sporty spice. Pretended we were the animals of Farthing Wood. I don't know if anyone remembers that, acted out fairytales, where for some reason I always had to be the evil witch or queen, because every other character was called shot gun, but we never really sat still. If we were playing with our Nans carpet pretending it was a magic carpet we would be constantly using our imagination, so when we see vampire programmes, or supernatural based, it's - hell yes!! And unless we were watching something like Alladin we were never quiet. I mean, I'd be digging a massive hole in my Nans garden to get to the centre of the earth, we used to say, we used to collect acorns in the woods and count afterwards who had the most, collected tadpoles, often went bike riding, and scuffed up all my legs, it bloody hurt I'll tell you, but that was what we did, had a couple of near misses with cars, I don't know if any one else has done that, but, I was at a friend's wedding last week and there were two boys sat down, quietly watching a video game boy for hours!! I hardly went to other peoples weddings as a kid, but if I did, I'd be running around with other kids. For one of my birthdays I had it at the gymnasium and I remember holding on to this thing in the air and it's like those wires that you fly down, to a crash mat, but that was awesome. If I sat down to do anything it was to write, or read a book.

I will tell you why I like it, because its supernatural based, you take a particular type of mythological character ie vampires or witches etc and you focus on bringing something we disbelieve in - into reality and make us believe that vampires are actually among us, so we believe that it's possible, then as a viewer we don't want to see a happy peaceful day with everyone getting along, it wouldnt make for good drama, so you have this going on, and that going on, the dynamic between two brothers and the object of their affection. Yes, you can get corny vampire shows but that is only because of bad writing and because the main focus is to make viewers laugh and because they do that it devalues what they were trying to achieve. You need good writing, believable writing, and you need to have a good understanding of people... Like how would Alex react in this situation and what might someone else think. If someone else could tell the story from their perspective what would they think and encourpriate all of that into your film and that, that is why the Vampire Diaries is a success. Plus, you get all these different characters you can follow on their journeys
