Adam must learn how to be good host, not monopolize the discussions. When there is a productive relevant point, he must change his points to cover more interesting issue …. Less irrelevant points could be omitted for the debate sake.
If these people think that living and working and struggling under capitalism is bad...wait until they live, work, and struggle under communism. At least in capitalism, you have a CHANCE of being successful.

So basically the first part of this conversation was about Libertarianism, without mentioning it. I am a Libertarian and I think Ran is a Libertarian as well. But in my opinion, there need to be a (small) government with some rules, otherwise it will become a mess. At the same time, I agree with Ran, because some rules go too far. So it's difficult to say how rules should be applied. So I'm really curious about how the plans of president Milei from Argentina will play out. He will show us the benefits of a Libertarian society, that's for sure.

A vast majority of US goods are sold into EU. If EU decides it's time to switch to beans and bullets over TVs and games is pretty bad for economy.

401k isnt "free" money. Its more money! its a small fraction of the money the worker earned for the employer, as a benefit instead of just paying the employee more since not every employee eill partake. Every time an employee opts out saves company money. Scam!

1) the nationalistic coverage changes depending on the county wanting to copy. 2) koch funded study dound that a single payee plan would save citizens 2TRILLION, over 10 years compares to current market.
3). Just like your company uses its size to get cheaper rates, the single payer plan would use entire country population, as the group to negotiate prices.

Why so many ppl leave the US for medical treatment? Fly to Mexico or Columbia pay for entire treatment, plus a room, food, travel and quarter the cost on the states.

The homeless problem can't be fixed by teaching people skills. It can prolly make a dent, but not fix. The number one problem is these people can't afford homes in the economic centres. And you actually can't build houses in America, too many permits, too many regulations. It's more expensive to build than to buy, to buy is so expensive that only a very small percentage can afford it

Licensing permits and regulations in general make it prohibitive from the for the small business owner to get into the market and to compete with a big corporations..... in fact regulations are the number one tool that monopolists use to Corner the market... entrepreneurs small business oriented people are simply priced out of the market with regulations...... of course they are created to give you the illusion it's for the protection of consumers but in the end it's not it is to maintain or acquire a monopoly in any particular sector of the economy... Jeff Bezos is an example of how he played the Mother Teresa card by saying they should increase minimum wage through regulations because people can't make ends meet... on the surface he looks like Gandhi but he actually promoted increasing minimum wage at the same time that he switched to more automation this in turn caused his competitors who are not automated to have to pay more costs for wages thus he was able to provide cheaper prices than his competition
