I think the fact that Wheein danced like someone who is awkward dancing really speaks to her skills as a dancer. And I really love their live performances on the radio as you get to see how silly they get, while sounding even better than studio version. Those candid moments are just too hilarious, like Wheein's little voice crack and the members laughing but trying not too because they have to sing their line. I remember in one or two other performances, the radio show host did something funny to make the members laugh and they were just having such a hard trying to sing their parts.

Moonbyuls shirt in that Gogobebe video is something moomoos talked about a lot. If the girl crush wears a shirt with pussy written on it, people go crazy. Making new official subunits now is a lot more complicated with them being in different companys. Mamamoo+ was only possible because Solars and Moonbyuls contacts are a year longer and Hwasas was. The end of this year Wheeins special contract with RBW ends and in 2024 Moonbyul and Solar are up for renewal. We know all 4 want Mamamoo to continue but we don't know what happens company and contract wise with Wheein, Solar and Moonbyul.
I feel like the collab are even more freely now that they are in different conpanies - look at how Hwasa and Wheein collab for 17. I think cause they are already successful in the industry, their new contracts with the new companies are lot of freedom and they can do what they want. I trust them, whatever they decide to do with their agencies

Rather than her solo stuff having more of that punchy aggressive rap, she has a couple of songs with a fluid talk rap style with her sultry vocal tone that will make you go yesss just talk at me Hwasa
I absolutely LOVE that you're going into more obscure Mamamoo videos as well as their live performances. From what I saw back in 2015, Mamamoo wasn't able to secure many prominent TV shows since they were only rookies, so they put a lot of effort into live stages (such as street busking) and CZcams segments. Such unconventional promotion was how they secured such a strong fanbase in the first place. And in my personal opinion, Mamamoo phasing out their presence on CZcams is what led to their decline in popularity after 2020. Might I recommend their busking videos? The absolute raw vocals during their debut days are pretty fun to watch. :)
Did you notice Moonbyul’s shirt said “Pussy” in the gogobebe dance video? People made videos of idols wearing clothes that have bad words on them, Moonbyul was in those vids but the comment was top-tiers. Other fandom was like:”Noooo! That’s not ABC fault, the stylist forced her/him to wear it…” Moomoo was like: “Yeah Moonbyul was just telling us what she like guys” or “That’s so on brand for her.” 😂😂😂😂
One potentially fun dance video for the girls a lot of people may not have seen is from when they were still trainees. Moonbyul, wheein and hwasa were backup dancers for the hiphop trio phantom performing their song "ice" as a livestage, along with a 4th trainee instead of solar (many international fans that are aware of her existence think this is sujong, the woman who was originally going to be mamamoo's fifth member, but some don't believe it is her)

I don’t know what it’s from but I once remember seeing a clip of Byul and Hwasa in these outfits in a car on the side of a street and “Ricky” is trying to pick up a girl or something with “Yul” as the wingman. And then there are the Dispatch pictures of Solar with a “mysterious guy” that is actually Byul as Yul and a “kiss”. It was a total troll on Dispatch and was actually good publicity for Um Oh Ah Yea when it became known of what the outfits were about.
They actually had two clips with the girls in their outfits/personas, i think used as teasers or something One was the byul/hwasa one mentioned a few times, the other was all 3 girls walking into a men's locker room and freaking out, then cheering once they walked out the other side (all the guys in that locker room were rbw artists or trainees at the time)

Starry night has no explaination it just hits exactly right but these radio shows they do, the way solar practially puts the mic on the floor and faces the wall to keep her belt from overloading the equipment, just begs the question how powerful is her voice. You should watch every video of them on these radio shows. Taller than you is just hilarious.
