I love the fun looks you created with this collection, Debbie! When you were sharing your “Alice memories”, it made me question in my mind if I have ever actually seen the animated Disney movie properly, as my earliest memories of the story were actually from reading the books (“Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland” & then “Through the Looking Glass”) with the original illustrations by John Tenniel. It seems like it was much later that I became aware of the animated Disney version of the characters, but I can’t honestly say whether it was from seeing that movie or from having just seen them in passing. I really like what they did with the production of the movies in 2010 & 2016, as they seemed more like a real-life creation of the original illustrations I remembered from the books I’d read in childhood. But one can never forget Alice’s signature blue dress! 😉👍🩵🩵🩵👗🩵🩵🩵✨
Yes I had to think whether I had seen the Disney movie too, so I rewatched it just before filming this video & I could vaguely remember watching it as a child but as you say I’ve always been aware of the story & I love the Tim Burton movies so much. Alice’s dress is iconic! 👗
hi Debbie, the 1° look is a perfect Halloween look, I also like the 2° with that combination of green and blue and you look good with it with pastels, but of course it takes some getting used to if you are used to bright colors Until next time and have a nice evening 😉😉
Loved to see that you grabbed the collection! I'm trying to be patient, I ordered at launch the palate, lip mask, and shadow sticks but it still hasn't shipped yet.☹ I loved how you went for it on the first look, it looked really neat I think, and the second look was lovely too!
