You got your ruckus ...im try to get mine also i want gy6 90mph..im from nyc,if you have any link for it in nyc would love to stop at the shop to able to look at them and able to buy me one
Slim razor man 90mph is very hard to get and when you get to that level you have to worry about fixing the motor very often since it isn’t reliable at all. Basically like the 232cc. They are cool but not reliable. Reliability wise I’d say 171cc and if done right with ported head and tuned it can do around 80.

Slim razor you will have to search craigslist for a full build. There won’t be a link for one all done up as a complete bike. To do the swap is about 1600 then it’s really up to the build as to were you go with it. They are very versatile

Rob Conway haha thank you. I’d love to do a complete build as well but that will cost me around 6-8k to do another like mine. So I’ll need more followers and make some funds off of CZcams to get another build like that in the works. I’d love to do another in the future. I’ll be building my met in the next few weeks but still 49cc

Btw...how fast IS that 171 on TRS site?...looks very tempting...is it pretty reliable or high maintenance like other high performance motors
Rob Conway I’ll get better builds and videos to come and be more entertaining. I appreciate the sub. The 171 is reliable like the 150. It will probably do around 70 ish out the box but with tuning it and dialing it in it will do mid 70s. If you port the head it can get to high 70s low 80s with tuning.
Burnout Bobby...don’t wunna bore you but I def plan on installing an a/f gauge to get a good tune. (Would be a good vid). Would also love to see a vid on installing an oil cooler....you will be the 1st one cuz I can’t find one.
Rob Conway air fuel is really simple. Weld the bung to the pipe and you just need a power and ground for the af gauge. The tuning is the fun part lol. I don’t run oil coolers since it’s not really needed unless you go over 200cc in my opinion. I’ve ran these motors for over 200 miles a day without cooling issues so I’d say don’t use one and keep the setup clean 👍🏻

Hey man, digging the channel. About time someone has more up to date ruck content. Your ruck is sick too bro...very clean. Pretty much the same setup on mine. So I dunno if you'll even get this but Spring is around the corner and I'd like to loan wolf it without worrying. Im on LI in NY and last season I was having some serious fuel delivery issues. If the ruck sat for a day or two then the fuel would back out of the line. Then when I wanted to start her up again it would take forever to get fuel back to the carb. Sometimes even when I ride it'll shut off from lack of fuel. Anyway, I'm this close from getting an electric fuel pump and trying that but I feel like that may be a bad idea. Any ideas you could throw my way would be appreciated. Thanks.
Michael Staton could be one of three things. One is that the fuel pump diaphragm might be bad and need a rebuild. There may be an vacuum leak and another thing to do once you figure out the cause is get a fuel check valve.
Burnout Bobby def not the pump...bought a brand new one and the same issue. As far as a vacuume leak, how can I check that? Could it be the fuel filter by any chance?
Michael Staton doubt its the fuel filter or fuel lines because then you’d have fuel leak it will have to be leaking from manifold or where you have your vacuum lines on the scooter. It sounds like the bike isn’t pulling enough vacuum off the pump to keep the fuel In the carb.

The frame is the only thing not modified. A build like this can have 7-8k into it

They are not. The ones we have now like them are called the og bars and use the clip on nandlebars
I have a 150CC Maddog, and I saw earlier you said some Ruckus parts don't fit, how does it work as far as the engine and using the parts listed here and on Motonosity's build?

That’s a tricky question. Technically the frame is the only thing that is registered since it is the only piece with a vin on it and the motor is not. But then you are above 49cc. So it’s at the required amount for most states to have an endorsement. I will say that probably 90 percent of the people I know with a gy6 swap don’t have an endorsement. I have mine just because I love riding all types of bikes.

Braham Perez stopped making them. The closest we have now are the og bars and clip ons.
Head light is it hard to install it
No it’s easy. Ground to any negative on the bike and then power goes to either high or low beam.

VaNgLeE24 yes and no there are a lot of parts that don’t fit from the Ruckus. The front end kit needs to be modified with shims. Once you go to a 150 all the performance parts will work

JP it’s more expensive to build from the ground up. It’s cheaper to find one already swapped. I’ve bought a bike for 3 grand that had 7500 into it. So I usually look for a deal like that.
Actually I could get a used one here n town for 3000$ it’s 171cc cuase it’s bored out would you get that or a brand new ice bear gen 5 for 2500$
I’d still get the ruckus as they are built better than the ice bears.
