- IN recent years, the sounds and rythms of Africa in the form of AFROBEAT have been infiltrating the airwaves of major music markets around the world.
Our guest in this segment is an artiste who has made a name for himself by fusing those sounds and rythms, with his own Dancehall styling.
Born and raised in Nigeria, it was 2014 after years in the business that he gained major attention.
Then in 2015 followed up with a track that has been getting major airplay all over the world but in particular, the Dancehall Reggae Space.
His name is Patrick Okorie but he wants the world to know him as Patoranking. - Zábava

this was ment to be a positive video how on earth did it get to this where people are commenting on who hate who. one we are all black secondly not every Nigerian and Jamaican show hate to each other. I have many Nigerian friends and we have no issues we talk to each other like family. the truth is if we approach each other from a place of love and respect then stupid comments like this would never be made. this is only a testimony to why we remain second class to other races. I am a Jamaican and I love Africa I'm smart enough to love the people I'm connected to you all should do the same.
Exactly my sentiments
The African artistes seems more professional than our Jamaican artiste.

those are the same africans (REAL TRIBAL NAME A.K.A. HAMITE ETHIOPIANS ACCORDING TO THE BIBLE) who sold your ancestors out of africa which god named that continent land ethiopia but a roman italian general by the name of leo scipio africanus defeated ethiopia and renamed the land after his last name africanus to africa. these hamite Ethiopians sold our people into the hands of the arabs, spaniards and the white man into slavery you idiot and now they are taking reggae music for themselves just like the white man making it a part of their culture leaving you with nothing.
Felesha Williams he is bigger than you think...very big here in africa...and richer more than your many artists
+David Mageta
fuck your african people who sold my ancestors off to the arabs, white man and the spaniards out of africa and now you hamites (REAL TRIBAL NAME ACCORDING TO GOD WHO NAMED EVERY HUMAN NATIONS) are taking dancehall away from my people.

Jamaicans what do you think about Africans making dancehall and passing it off as afobeat internationally?
Tripzki Smith. Are you not african?
Okay perhaps I should rephrase. Nigerians then?
Tripzki Smith are nigerians not africans ?
We love and welcome it. Our ancestors are from Africa. Alot of Jcan music , dance and beats are inspired from África. The drums etc. We love it, well i do...
We are pleased to have our brothers and sisters connected with our beat. It is our hearts that are infused not just the music.
Winifred your the media so I hope u help change it. I always notice how most Jamaicans are dark skin but the advertisements mostly fill with light skin people. that's one of the reasons they bleach their skin and wear fake hair.
He's look yardie for real
Neillia campbell cause Nigerians and Jamaicans are brothers didn't you know? Lol
+J Ch I know luv
Jamaicans need to wake up and see what the fuck is going on Nigeria and other parts of Africa are trying to take over dancehall, now all of these beats are Afrobeat come on, smh they are trying to say we are one sound, but when Jamaican artist cant get dem Visa to go perform, are the African artist going to help them out,........FUCK NO, they are taking Dancehall from us, and to many Jamaicans dont get it
Typical Nigerian CONMAN,how come he never disclosed that he learnt Patois and dancehall from Ghana,he was a student in Ghana and that is where he learnt the genre Dancehall.
Jaychristian Norman why do u say such things?
People need to know the true facts
So far you are the stupidest person on this platform with your nonsense .The artiste certainly helps dancehall relevant in the international market .
0thneil Ellis Well it may be nonsense for you,but people need to know the true facts
+Jaychristian
