Knitting Backwards for Stranded Colorwork

Even though most stranded 2-color knitting is worked in the round, some patterns are written for flat pieces. When you know how to knit backwards, you never have to purl -- and this makes it easier to keep your yarns untangled. The sample square is from ARNE & CARLOS's Quarantine Knitting blocks.
