I've been driving my new entry level luxury sports sedan ('24 330xi) for almost three months. It is a sophisticated machine. As you said there are always little things to nitpick (which I wonder if I should share), but is overall a fantastic car to drive. Nice review!
In general, you can buy a 2015 BMW and be ok, but really anything 2020 and newer has become more reliable. I personally own a 2012 Audi R8 with zero issues, I would think they are reliable for any year. But it comes down to how the vehicle was taken care of.
@@kevin41780 we’ve bought two used and one new. Used you save a lot, and generally we like a 2-3 year old used one, already took a hit in depreciation.
yeah gotta get the 340 for a 6 cyl. which is really a scam tbh. back in the day the 328/330 was a naturally aspirated 6cyl and 335 was turbo 6cyl. i hate that every company gave up on naturally aspirated v6/inline6 cars and just do turbo 4s instead. which are less reliable
Why don't they have adaptive cruise control? I cannot find a single 330i that would be equipped with the adaptive cruise. All used ones don't have it, all the reviews that I've seen, the reviewed cars don't have it, dealer websites, the same. What a total nonsense! You're paying >$45k for a sedan and don't have what is a standard feature on a honda civic.
My biggest hate on the North American G20 BMW 3-Series and the G80 M3 are the brake lights and rear turn signals. Why synchronized? It should be separated!

How reliable are these 4 cylinder turbos pumping 200 plus hp ? So lowest performance in a 6 is the 340i?
the M240i comes with a 6 cylinder pushing almost around 380hp
