Great review and thank you for the compliments. I watched the video like, wow, who is Sarkis talking about. It was a labor of love that I'm always looking for ways to improve. After this experience, I feel I am ready to start a business.
I also have an Denon 4806Ci that is running a 7.1 setup. That receiver is 15 years old.
It was a pleasure working on this with you mate, turned out awesome. Should be very proud of what you have achieved 🤙🍻😁
Thank you. It far exceeded my expectations.
Wow this might be the best cinema room tour I've seen on this channel so far. Anyways I have a Sony STR-K750P receiver paired with the original 5 speakers and subwoofer that it came with brand new out of the box in 2003, and it is still going strong to this day.
Great video! I have always wondered about the Klipsch THX speakers, great choice!
Thank you my friend 🤙🍻
They sound fabulous. Klipsch doesn’t require a lot of power and the Yamaha provides more than enough power.
Absolutely beautiful holy shit man
Cheers Angel, what did you like the most? :)
Excellent room
Thanks for watching percy, what you like the most?
@@hstudio30 I like your presentation. It is excellent. As for the theater everything is planned perfect. I loved the fact he went with the Klipsch THX behind the AT Silverticket screen and I also like he went with a separate processor and amp. Excellent theater and excellent presentation by you.
Thank you for the kind words mate, means alot. Kevin has done an amazing job with this theater and im sure it sounds extremely good! Stay tuned. Cheers Percy 🍻🙏🤙
@@hstudio30 will do.
@@percybedford6266 Thank you Percy. Yes Sarkis presentation was excellent. I really enjoyed watching it.
That room is fantastic!!! I love it all!!!!!
Its an awesome room brother, hope your well and thank you for the support 🍻🤙
Thank you for the complement
Wow! That is really really nice!
Thanks for watching mfk. What did you like the most about it? 🙂
thank you, enjoy your channel and love the home theater tours. keep them coming .
Thanks for the feedback jorge, stay tuned. Thanks for watching 🍻✌
Great presentation Sarkis, and wonderful cinema room😁👏 Every time I see those klipsch kl650’s I instantly think about the M&K 150’s... I love the indigo blue. It gives off a very warm vibe. Kevin made great choices all around, even keeping his old Sony receiver. Shoot, I have been rockin my Boston’s for 16+ yrs and my Pioneer SC-09 for 12+yrs (could be longer)😁 Awesome job Kevin👏👏👏👏😆😆✌️
Thank you and well said tommy. 🙏🙂
Thank you Tommy.
Great tour and room! 💯💯🤟🏼
Thanks donald 🙏🍻 what did you like the most about it?
Thank you Donald.
No rest for the wicked sarkis! Great room tour mate!
Haha cheers mate, ✌😁 thanks for the support
Bass shakersss !!!! You are futureproofed now 😅
🤯🤯😅 Thanks for watching 🍻✌
Thank you. It adds a different experience to everything.
Im still using 30-35 year old pioneer bookshelves as my L and R😂 my mom bought them long ago for dirt cheap not knowing they were one of the greatest purchases of our lifetime😎
Thats unbelievable to hear! Well done. How are they holding up with sound? Nothing has changed on them? Im blown away..🤔🍻✌
@@hstudio30 I just checked. Theyre the pioneer s-p320. Came as part of a set with casette decks, CD player, amp, radio, switch. They werent the highest end even for old standards but they have stood the test of time exceptionally well. Only a couple scratches but overall in great shape. And sound wise: i love the warm tone, and paired with a class d Yamaha amp/av receiver they have great presence. I had to boost the highs because the tweeters are literally made of paper😂😂😂 but they sound amazing. Not too harsh on the top end. And they are front ported so placing them close to the wall isnt a problem😎
Ill stop rambling now😂
Quality video btw👌
Haha its ok mate love hearing these stories, sounds awesome and good to see you hanging onto them no matter what anyone sais or get convinced of upgrading for no reason. Yes theres always going to be newer and better tech being released but honestly glad to see some old tech still being around. Enjoy it mate and take care of it like a baby haha. Oh thanks paulbeats, ur support means alot 🍻🤙
Very nice theater and style choices! I love the panels!
Thanks for watching mel :)
Thank you
@@Darthswan00 love the setup! Especially the choice of paint on your walls. What brand paint did you choose? And it’s called Indigo blue?
Yeah man no days off for you....I'm enjoying the channel too much🤣
Haha thanks mate, great to hear. Means alot 😁 im guesing you didn't vote for a week off. 😅
@@hstudio30 In all seriousness though....take all the time you need bro! You have a good spirit and your work and effort are much appreciated fam!👊🏾
Thank you champion. Youre giving me more drive to work harder but yes balance is key. You guys rock and at this stage no time off for 2020. ✌🍻
How is the experience from front seat row? I was told that with 18 feet room length, I cant go with 2 rows and more than 120" screen size.
I’d like to hear a THX sound test
Thatll be difficult to youtube copyright issues..🤔
@@hstudio30 press THX on the receiver let it sound
Kevin, I am also in Chicago area, we should connect! My theater was featured on Build Montage!
Thanks
That would be so cool!
Hey Mel, I will have to check it out. Sounds like a plan.
Well here I am again! My Jamo D6 THX is still thumping on 13 years on and still working. Although the Sub is having som issues right now and I am about to replace it with another XTZ Cinema 12. Modern subs are way different than those from 10 years+ ago. They go deeper and hit harder. Love your channel! I would love to see more about your Krix speakers it is my dream setup! That and a DeLorean and I can die happy :)
Thanks for watching martin, wow your jamo D6s still alive thats awesome to hear but sorry for your sub loss 😪 thank you my friend for the feedback and stay tuned 🙏✌
If you you really want to future proof your room do not go with fancy cables. What you want to do is design the room for cable containment. That means easy access to the areas were cables run. As along as you do that you can easily put in new cables.
My home theatre has screw in panels were I can run cables easily and can easily install new speakers without ripping the whole building to pieces. .
Very good idea and thanks for watching, good advice but not sure how thatll work with dedicated home theaters..
Yes, cable containment was what I had in mind with the pvc pipe. I did a couple of sample runs and realized that I shouldn’t connect the pvc, leave them loose. Even with the 45 degree angles, I left them loose.
Sweet mate, cheers for your thoughts. 👌
That’s my house
haha i thought it was mine?! or yours? or Kevins? ah well...it doesnt matter because its EPIC!
Thank you.
Great looking room, and love the Klipsch THX. How far is the front row view from that screen? My room is still under construction and keep going back and forth between the silver ticket 158” and 142”
I would go for the 158". The distance would be approx 12-14feet..
I had a Sony STR-DH510 which I replaced last month after 11 years of loyal service. It was still going strong and I only upgraded because a streaming box I bought only uses DD+ which the STR-DH510 doesn't support.
Hey steve, wow another sony beast lasting 11+ years, thanks for watching and thanks for the story. 👌
So the sony 385es have lens memory?
My God, if I ever win the lottery I will build a system like this, but presently enjoy my 120 inch screen with rp klipsch speakers and an epson pro cinema projector
We all wish for that loterry ticket and hope you do win! In the meantime your setup sounds cool. Send me a pic if you like 🤙
@@hstudio30 well its a simple set up in the basement but does the job when the lights are out, just finished watching Narnia, lol
Nice mate, enjoy it no matter what setup it is. Have goals and work hard, youll ge there. Narnia = awesome movie 🤙🍻
Thank you
Love the theater I'm building my room now and I'm a new york Giants fan what color blue us that
Awesome stuff mate! Its an Indigo blue 😁 thanks for watching
Thank you. They are two different blues in the room. Walls and post are Salty Dog.. Ceiling is Anchors Aweigh..
Is it ok to put subwoofer in a niche like that? It won't affect sound?
Yes its totally fine 👌thanks for watching
@@hstudio30 man I'm building a theatre right now and this just changed everything
Awesome, glad to help. Just make sure your flooring is carpet or has vibration legs if its timber, allow a little room behind it, make sure your subwoofer is forward facing and make sure the niche around it is solid and wont rattle. ✌enjoy and shoot me a message on instagram or join the discord server for help and chats.
@@hstudio30 thanks man! Maybe when I'm done I'll make the cut to be in a video. Ill be in touch!
You can't see it, but the inside of the niche has 1" acoustic panels in it.
This Episode is suppose to be Number 19. My bad..🤙
Jk haha
So is mine 😅
Those cheap foam acoustic panels are garbage? Why did he spend all the money on this room, with all the great Acoustic treatments then fall short on that cheap foam? Doesn’t make sense??
Cheap foam where exactly? Behind the screen?
LOL, that's the thing about it. When I feel a need to change it, I will. Very low on the priority pole.
Receiver sony 🤷🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️....🤢🤮
🤪
Good for power bass shakers.
