After a routine early morning journey duration of approximately 3 hours 08 minutes from the very modern and colossal hustle and bustle of downtown Tokyo, I finally arrived at the Tsuruga terminal station at precisely 10.28 a.m. sharp on Track No. 12. Checking to see that I did not leave anything behind in the cabin, I safely disembarked from the 12-car train and took the closest escalator down to the major Shinkansen transit concourse.
