How is it painful exactly I'm just curious this episode was good I'll admit that but of course they basically think that friendship always wins in the end because they have to do one goofball scheme which was apparently memorable convincing them to let her stay with her friends the cmcs would never die it wasn't going to die to begin with even if she was gone this isn't a painful quote I just wanted family just this once to win in the end but it doesn't happen in this universe this is why generation 4 seasons 5 through 9 became stale until the very end and finished strong

@@Patches_0001 in real life that's not how parenting works parents actually know how their kids feel if they're ready to move on they give them time to get ready for that change kids won't realize it at first and they don't want things to change but then they have to accept the fact that they will and this universe they say f*** that we're just going to go through a lot of crazy schemes for me to stay with my friends because my friends usually matter here in ponyville and guess what scootaloo's parents are never to be seen again they were just used for one time just for shameless fan service I wanted family in the show to actually win in the end instead of friendship every single damn time

It was awesome to finally see Scootaloo's parents, and to think they were based off of Steve Irwin and Jane Goodall, and i really enjoyed the ending of the episodes, the CMC's both earned and deserved that 3 horseshoe key to the city a perfect way to end the CMC's story arc!
I think the title (The Last Crusade) is a reference to Indiana Jones, since scootaloos parents are kind of like Indy.
The title of Crusaders of the Lost Cutie Mark was also an Indy reference
Her dad is basically crocodile Dundee but the title is also a indina Jones title probably a couincdince but unlikely

I love that the beginning of getting the CMC cutie marks, and now this ending to the story, both use Indiana Jones titles as the episode name.

I still don't get it, is it because her parents are pegasi and earth pony?
@@wobwokbwobwowk6561 It's because Scootaloo has most of his father's earth magic but was still born with his wings, therefore having only just enough Pegasus magic to only hover and push his little scooter.

@@tophbeifong1999 hmmm, I don't think that's how it works... I'm pretty sure it's not that uncommon for ponies to have two different pony types as parents, yet Scoot is the only pegasus we've seen that we know for sure can't fly.
And further more, it's pretty clearly shown in the show it's self that the reason she can't fly because of a _physical_ disability, not that she doesn't have enough pegasus magic. In the 23rd episode of s9, she is shown as an adult pony, yet her wings are still much smaller than most pegisi. She also appears in The Last Problem the same way.

I gave this a ten out of ten just from the opening scene
I know this react is super old by internet standards by now, but every time I watch this particular episode, it hits hard because of how relatable it is. Having your life turned upside down like that, pre-internet as a standard, like Scootaloo's parents attempt to do, was a standard of living for me as a military child. You'd move every four or so years, and as the offspring, you'd have no say in where you were going or if you could stay behind really. So personally this hit hella hard and I'm at least glad there was a compromise for Scoot in the end.
Seeing a CMC Crying Fit has me torn. One side of me pities them, while the other finds it adorably hilarious!

I loved your reactions in this one. Though I have to say I have little sympathy for Scoot's parents I mean seriously 2 day's notice for that kind of major change. Not just for her but everyone elses plans they just would have just selfishly upended with that. Imagine her aunts move to Ponyville only to find their niece was taken to another country and their little brother/brother in law informed them via a letter (which didn't arrive) not even taking the time to stop by and say hello.

You know I wish Scoots did move, It would show the CMC that they can split up to help ponies, Scoots moving could be a great time for her to start a new branch of the CMC in Shyra Laka, Sweetie could move to Canterlot and start a branch there, and AB could continue the branch in Ponyville with help from Diamond and Silver. I mean Babs already has a branch in Manehatten.
