It's good, but the 40 year of WrestleMania showcase mode was bad.
Love how the rock comes with elbow pads even as a ref just in case people's elbows need to happen lol

This line from Graves is actually directly lifted from The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time. It's said by the character Sheik when teaching the player the song "Minuet of Forest" outside the entrance to the Forest Temple dungeon.
And knowing that Cody is a huge OOT fan, the amount of depth in this commentary is insane bro

Did you know Triple H's Theme "King Of Kings" is in the game? This is a two in one because that theme is called (The Authority) and so are special titantrons for The Authority
Happy that 2K updated Jey’s entrance 🔥. I haven’t done a tag team match with Chelsea and Piper, very cool to see that they have a tag entrance

Did you know Shawn Michaels also has special guest referee commentary? At the end of the match, they'll make a reference to DX
Did you know 2k added special crowd signs for bray Wyatt? If you scroll down on the WWE crowd signs you can see special crowd signs for bray like "Thank You Bray".
I love that Graves used that quote from Cody's return at WrestleMania 38 which was itself a reference to a Legend of Zelda quote.
Did you know the fiend has special audio when performing the “let them in 7” taunt its a little difficult to hear because it’s muffled from the mask

Did you know The Fiend has a brodie lee tribute taunt? You can hear him say Yea yea yea, even has a muffled effect so it sound like he’s screaming it under the mask
He did it in real life as the fiend so it's even more realistic.

Did you know, despite him not winning a title since his return, Cody Rhodes has side plates that are new to the series featuring his American Nightmare logo, however these are not assigned to him by default

Its new cause WWE games transferred to Next Gen Consoles in 2014 and 2K decided to get rid of everything from the old gen and start from scratch
And the same company (Yukes) removed them from the games.

Did you know that you can get up on the turn uckle with your back facing your opponent again? Run to the corner while holding the right trigger or R2 to do it
You can have an Elimination Chamber match in any arena (including customs) by using Universe Mode. Creating the match manually will put the chamber in the arena.
I like the duel match between cody rhodes and stardust with unique commentary, then a mineral water bottle as a weapon?!, the damage water bottle when hit the opponents was so light!

This one isn’t really important, but after you complete certain matches in the showcase, you can hear the ending of the matches playing out if you don’t go to the next match immediately. The Austin vs Rock and Rhea vs Charlotte matches are two of the them that do it.
I like learning the things that may go under the radar! I definitely want to check out the ones you have made. I just also wish I could talk to anyone that could do anything or is apart of making this game/games!?? I have a good deal of ideas and how it could work! And some of them are gold!!!
Did you know that there is special commentary if you have a match between Cody Rhodes and Dusty Rhodes? The commentators will refer to the Peacock documentary of Cody Rhodes and his feelings of his father being a father figure to NXT.
Did you know that if you wrestle in UK based arenas such as Clash at the Castle and Money in the Bank, the crowd will occasionally chant "welcome home" for Superstars from the UK and Ireland.
Apparently, Mike Rome announces on RAW for everyone else… excluding Chelsea Green. I could be wrong about this. I’ll check when I get home from work.
No, he doesn't. It's just random sometimes. But mostly it is Samantha on Raw.
I have gotten him when I didn't want him though lol. So I can understand why you'd think he was on Raw normally. I think it's just glitched out or something but he's definitely not supposed to do Raw at all. Only Samantha.
Did you know: if you ignite a table, you can still hear the commentators mention Edge and Mick Foley’s wrestlemania match?
It would be cool for the cans and bottles to have a special drinking animation, small detail but would be kinda cool
Don’t know if you know this smacktalk but you can get a random occurrence when doing move sets where the move set guy can get busted open (with an indicated red flash on the screen)

They need to fix Trick Williams entrance and have the fans chant Whoop that Trick. That would be awesome. They could add the other commentators and have the official ones for each show.
with 2k renaming his finisher that´s never gonna happen.
If you do the Glasgow sendoff while your opponent is near the corner you will get an animation where they bounce off of it
really wish we could choose tye ring announcer for Create a show(similar to how we can choose the refs)

I wish they would update Jey's entrance so the crowd is actually in time with him, its jarring to watch, especially with DBs entrave a few years ago and the crowd being in time with the Yes chant and movements
Did you know? In MSG arenas like WM20, you can crowd fight into the open area on the hard cam with the big screen. The game tries to keep you on the line but if you keep grappling upwards, you will move into it.

This unique commentary for a Hulk Hogan versus Hollywood Hogan, and when you win
Did you know that there is special commentary present for john cena as a special guest referee
There are a few creation entrances that are only in as templates, so you can't set the movement, tron, music etc from the individual menus. There's Carly Prime (although that has the Ms Texas motion), The Manifestation, and Zero.
Other superstars who participated as a special ref in the past, like Trish Stratus, also have special commentary for special guest ref matches.
Kevin owens superplex reversal is finally in the game when countering certain suplexes

When using a CAW no matter what arena you are in the ring announcer defaults to Mike Rome!. Annoying!

If you play as Joe Coffey, if you hit his signature Glasgow send off 1 and the opponent is on the floor near any corner turnbuckle, he’ll send the opponent flying into the corner with a little animation oppose to just flying back
are we able to assign the shawn & diesel entrance to our CAWs?
I've had a handful of matches on NXT and the ring announcer has not always been Alicia Taylor. I've had Greg Rome on more than one occasion.
Fr I think it’s a glitch and it’s getting awn ma nerves I don’t know if if dis game needing more working time
If you use ANY CAWs, Mike Rome will ALWAYS take over, regardless of arena EXCEPT if you put your CAW as a Referee in a Special Guest Referee match

Jesus Corey Graves commentary for Cody vs Stardust is eerily poetic.
Here's one I just noticed - they left Happy Corbin, Titus O'Neil, Queen Zelina, Doudrop, and Prototype in the preset hashtags, and also Jamie Noble is there for some reason.
Just tested something, there is commentary if you put Cody Rhodes vs “Elite” Cody Rhodes in a 1 vs 1
Furthermore there is also commentary for Cody vs “Undashing” Cody

Did you know that there's a new animation for running and tagging someone in tag team matches?

Did you know that there is unique commentary dialog when you have Stardust face Undashing Cody Rhodes? I'm sure any Cody vs Cody will get different commentary but "Cody has wanted to beat Stardust for awhile now" is a nice line.
You can climb the side of the wrestlemania 17 stage and the rock has a special taunt for the microphone
Is there any way to download all those custom superstars that we see in the game ( like slade etc)
We get there cards for my faction but they dont appear in the roster or see any option for it
@Smacktalks Only just seen this, because the AI did it during showcase, and I don't know if it's new this year or not but, Did You Know that although the game does not show you the button prompts you can remove the turnbuckle pad when you're stood on the Apron

Ive never once had another announcer besides mike rome lmaoo no matter what arena, is it only for universe mode? Cause in exhibition matches i only ever had mike rome announcing

Did you know in WWE designs there’s an image of the 123 Kid even though he’s not in the game? (I know we have Syxx and X-PAC but it’s interesting)
in the latest patch it seems they updated submissions its no longer a button smash
Did you know that in WWE 2k24 if you look at the cutscenes for the 2K showcase the WrestleMania X7 cutscenes show and name drop Vince McMahon but when you look at the cutscene for the WrestleMania match between Charlotte flair Becky Lynch and Ronda Rousey Vince McMahons Face is censored out and is not named dropped

Think they had it as separate as default cause they came out separately until they started coming out together and thus they have the entrance of them coming out together also.
One thing I noticed is that if you put both Dusty and Cody Rhodes against each other, they will have special commentary.
It may be out of time, but it's leagues beyond Jey's 1.01 entrance

I’m pretty sure you can unlock some items from myfaction like tricks boxing gloves, seths big red boots etc. i believe they are called oddities
Edit: tbh i cant see the red boots in character creation but tricks gloves are there so im sure there are oddities that are unlockable i just not sure which

One more. Did you know that in showcase Lesnar vs Reigns when you're at the point you have to give him eight suplexes and a suplex city, if you do the suplex city before you get all of your eight suplexes done the game will count suplex city as three suplexes crediting toward the eight
