Rob, I am planning a trip to D.C. May 2023. Your live walk really helped. I am planning on staying at the Hilton National Mall the Wharf 😂. I was confused how the set up was but now I can see literally that the Hilton is in close walking distance to the Wharf and the National Mall. I have watched MANY of your videos and all have been very helpful. Thanks so much!
We will be there July 6th. Your metro video helped a ton! Trying decide what we'll walk, and what we'll use the metro for.

16:09 Waterfront Metro Station is closest to The Wharf. It's literally a block to the right of where you're standing at 14:18.

We're staying at a hotel at The Wharf soon and this video was extremely helpful! It was nice to see that the walk to the Mall isn't bad at all.

Hello Rob, I'm from Greece and was in DC back in March 2019, I had a great time. I actually stayed at hyatt house and took the water taxi to Alexandria so... I enjoyed this video because I saw those places again and how they look right now. Keep up the good work

Yes I think it was a good choice because the building is new, clean and the room clean modern and spacious. The included breakfast wasn't bad but didn't have that much variety. Locationwise I really liked the wharf district, really close to water taxi and I found very convenient the free wharf shuttle bus to the national mall (I don't know if it still exists though)

Re: phones.I think I’m like you in a way. Maybe that’s why I still have the iPhone 6S. The Wharf area looks interesting. I didn’t realize the Spy Museum relocated. I had been to it when it was a short walk from the FBI HQ.
I thoroughly enjoyed the African American Museum.

I will be there in 2 weeks haven’t been to the wharf, most looking forward to seafood! Question can you eat oysters year round there? I normally don’t eat oysters in July.
