- You guys. This freaking album. I have no words other than MASTERPIECE.
I have like 3-4 videos started to Folklore songs but this one just tugged at my heart a little bit extra. Especially after finishing rewatching the series and having to live through the finale again...I’m still not okay...STEFAN 😭😭😭

This song is beautiful!! The edits, everything but… Delena was real love. Stefan found love, his real love Caroline. Damon and Elena, well, he became human for her, he loved her with all her heart soul mind, he accepted her and loved her at her best, worst and throughout the whole journey. He saved her soul, her heart. Stefan was amazing for that moment in elenas life (when she lost her parents) but was not meant to stay forever. We all have stefans in our lives; the difference between for a while, and forever. Stefan was meant to stay for a while. Damon was meant to stay forever. She loved Damon and Damon loved her and Stefan loved that. He loved that his brother loved someone so much, and tbh Stefan brought so much darkness into Elenas life… he needed to know more about her even when he knew she wasn’t Katherine, and was going to bring so much darkness into a young girl’s life who just lost her parents, while Damon the second he realized she wasn’t Katherine compelled her to forget him. Tell me who’s the selfish brother? Stefan couldn’t be a vampire all by himself he had to turn his brother, always took choices for people making ppl think he wasn’t… Elena and Stefan, well their love became a beautiful friendship. But Damon and Elena was real, ups and downs, fights, confusion and in the end an everlasting love. Whoever thinks a relationship, marriage, parenthood is easy, is still young, idealize things and needs to learn a lot. Anyone who has a real relationship know its not all flowers and rainbows AT ALL. Not all the time. Damon love for Elena was so pure - the scene of the old people loving each other (fighting but then hugging) and how that convinced Damon (due to his love for Elena) to become human and abandon everything he LOVED, cause he did love being a vampire - is the ultimate sacrifice for love. He was completely devoted to her, her queen, her true love, how he kept himself alive by thinking about Elena - his safe place - his HOME, her home. all the things he did are countless, Elena felt that, saw that, and loved that, she loved him devotedly and completely. Love is not sweetening someone’s ear. Is all about ACTIONS. And Damons love for Elena was all about ACTIONS. Endgame, period.
Stefan reminds me of Dawson and Damon Pacey and how even if the show runners and some fans wanted Dawson to end up with Joey, Joey was always meant to end up with Pacey, the rebel one, the oh not so perfect one, but perfect for her. Her one true love, same as Delena. Same as life.

But sadly the newer version of my editing software doesn’t accept avi files and my new computer won’t let me install the old version so now I have to redownload basically all my shows. Got all of TVD so far...working my way up to Smallville and its 218 episodes, lol. But I’m sure if you begged me enough, I’d give Delena a try to this song 😜
