Nonetheless, David and Patricia opened the episode with What's Geauxin' On presented by Sonic, reacting to the news that former LSU Baseball coach Paul Mainieri is coming out of retirement to lead the South Carolina Gamecocks. How will Mainieri adapt to the new age of college baseball, filled with NIL, transfers, big chains and even bigger facial hair?
Bringing it back to Baton Rouge, David and Patricia discuss LSU Baseball's transfer additions, losses, needs and potential targets. They also share their thoughts on Head Coach Jay Johnson's comments that you must build your team one season at a time in today's college landscape, rather than developing a program over several years.
David and Patricia also talk about food critic and influencer Keith Lee's stop in Baton Rouge, which restaurants he should visit and what Joey Chestnut should do now that he is banned from the Nathan's Hot Dog Eating Contest.
As always, the show wraps with No Sweat Bets presented by Southern Air, where both hosts reluctantly admitted the Celtics will take home the NBA Finals.
