Will Sultan Suleiman spare Ibrahim's life?
Sultan Suleiman gets disturbed when İbrahim wants to leave the palace again. He endungeons him without a hesitation. As Sultan Suleiman decides about his vizier, he only shares the situation with the Sultana. Ibrahim appears before Sultan Suleiman. Sultan Suleiman and Ibrahim has a tense conversation. Sultan Suleiman makes an important decision about İbrahim. Meanwhile Hatice grows a hope that Ibrahim is back to the palace and waits for the moment that she will get together with him. The Sultana wants to hide the truth from her. However, Hurrem tells everything happened to Hatice. Hatice reacts harshly after what she has learned.
At the age of 26, when he ascended to the throne, Sultan Suleiman aimed to build an empire more powerful than Alexander the Great and to render the Ottomans invincible. Throughout his 46-year reign, he became the greatest warrior and ruler of both East and West.
The young Suleiman received news of his succession to the throne during a hunting party in 1520. Unaware that he would be ruling a reign beyond his dreams, he left behind his wife son and took to the road with his close friend and companion Pargali Ibrahim to reach the Topkapi Palace in Istanbul. As they started their journey overland, an Ottoman ship set sail from Crimea in the Black Sea, bringing female slaves as gifts for the Ottoman palace… On this ship was Alexandra La Rossa, the daughter of a Ukrainian Orthodox minister, taken away from her family and sold to the Crimean palace. She had no idea that she would become Hurrem, wife of Sultan Suleiman and mother of princes, ruling the empire with him through bloodshed and intrigue.
As Sultan Suleiman conquered the world, his great passion for Hurrem would clash with his love for and trust in his closest friend and advisor, Grand Vizier Pargali Ibrahim, all set against the backdrop of the tension between Christian Europe and the Ottoman Empire in the 16th century.

As Ibrahim became closer to Suleyman his arrogance grew and when he married hatice and became the grand vizer ( or was it the other way round), he thought he was invincible ... what valide sultan said to Suleyman was correct .. but I like Suleyman's answer better ... "What I give I can take back" ... that's a warning to her too as well as to everybody in the harem and the empire ... Suleyman was the ultimate ruler of the Ottoman empire. He tried his best to be fair and kind to everyone but there's a limit to every fairness and kindness.

Ibrahim was the best character ever. But it was his own arrogance that caused his own death. Hurrem would've never be able to get rid of him until he was out of sultan's favor. I agree, he brought it all on himself. He should've been quiet, not that arrogant.

@@anastasialem6866 I also like Ibrahim until he lost his sense of loyalty. He was jealous of Hureem's closeness to Suleyman. He joined the wrong camp. If he had accepted Hureem as Suleyman's legal wife and the sultanate queen, Hureem and him would be unstoppable and there would be peace in the palace. Because of Hureem's love for Suleyman and her children. But not to be, he fell into the trap of his own wrong judgment of hunger for power and greed and misjudging of Hureem's character just like valide sultan.

I always loved their sense of loyalty and friendship to eachother at the beginning of the show , it is so sad how things went after that . And worst part is it tgeir fault both , ibrahim told him in many scenes to stop giving him higher and higher ranks as it puts him closer to death , and sulieman trusted and valued him so much he became arogant😢

This was a tough situation for Ibrahim Pasha's wife Hatice Sultan to deal with the fallout of waiting for news on Ibrahim's whereabouts also. Mother Sultana got mad at Hurrem Sultan for opening her mouth to Hatice on what happened to Hatice's husband also including he was thrown in the dungeon story also.

Treachery was a serious crime back then when people did this kind of act and get a punishments including executions back then. Ibrahim Pasha was in a serious life or death situation when he betrayed his brother in- law Suleiman Sultan, the Great Khan. Suleiman Sultan decided to spare Ibrahim Pasha's life by giving his seal back as the Grand Vizer for his friend and brother in-law and also brotherhood between the both of them.

Ibrahim always acts like he's a victim. I don't like him. Hatice acts like he's some kind of saint when in all reality he isn't. Ibrahim is an arrogant jerk who got caught trying to take privileges he wasn't entitled to. When he was caught he started the pity party and acted like he was blameless. He never learned his lesson.

@@jennylaw6820myw dumb woman, Ibrahim was literally childhood best friend of the sultan and when you feelings of brotherhood etc of course ranks won't matter. Similar to how Timurid ruler Akber treated Hindu Mirza Raja Man Singh I as his own son and was quite fond of this despite Man Singh I serving as a general under him.

@@mirellenada7943 No he isn't a victim. He was Suleiman's best friend and he considered him his brother. He was also his Grand Vizier and brother in law. He chose to lay down with dogs and he got fleas. He chose to play high powered games with high powered stakes. He didn't have to. He could've declined the position and the marriage but he wanted all that heady power for himself. Ibrahim thought he could control everyone and everything but he couldn't. He also thought his privileged position would protect him and it didn't. The only thing he is a victim of is his own arrogance and greed.

Ibrahim should have learned his lesson. He just kept getting worse and worse. He thought his marriage to Suleiman's sister and his long friendship would protect him. His arrogance is insane. I don't believe he even loved Hattice. Her was crazy about his daughter with Nigar but never much time with his kids from Hattice. Hattice was always unhinged. Suleiman should have acted long ago. His whole family fights for power all the time. They mind killing either.
