The initial violin classical music represents the professional brother that was killed. Then the music depicts the chaotic brother. Then you get a blend of both.

I envy you. Did you get a chance to go out to the "church" (monastery)? I have heard it is getting refurbished. I plan on going someday as well. I will take this music with me and stand on one of those bridges and listen to it. Love the architecture as well.
I haven't seen the movie in about 15 years. I remember it being pretty forgettable except for the soundtrack. It still gives me goosebumps to this day.

This is one of my all-time favourite movies. Anthony Hopkins always puts on a stellar performance, & Chris Rock adds the perfect amount of comedy to the storyline for an awesome action/comedy.

One of my favorite all time movies as well. Not just for the story, but I love the music. I plan on visiting Prague someday and taking this music with me and standing on one of those beautiful bridges while listening to it.

This song gives me the shivers when i hear the violin I can get enough.
I remember this film coming out in 2002 and was seen on tv as I was in 5th grade back in 2006.
I saw it several years after it was released. The timing of the release was just bad luck. It was originally suppose to be released in the fall, but then 9/11 happened. They pushed it back to the Summer of 2002, but that didn't help at all. It might have been better had they put it in a can and released it several years later. The war in Afghanistan and Iraq made it more difficult for people to want to see a movie like this. I love both Rock and Hopkins acting. Kerry Washington even had a small roll in it well before Scandal.

This soundtrack needs to be resurrected and put on another movie, absolutely wasted on the one it was written for.
The very beginning when they showed Prague with the violin music for me was stirring. I didn't really care for the rest of the soundtrack.
