  • A vertigo inducing perspective from the hike to the top of Angels Landing in Zion National Park. I mounted a GoPro camera to a monopod 4 feet above my head for view straight down as I hiked this popular and exhilarating trail in Zion.

When I was little I did this hike with my family and my dad didn't let me continue at the dangerous part and I got so mad... Now I realize why he did that

That gives a totally distorted view. The hike was nowhere near as scary as that viewing angle made it appear. Total optical illusion.

That’s something you’d do in a third world country; saying the whole time, “this would be illegal in the USA!” Atlas there it is...

Nope. Not today. Not ever. Been there twice. Chickened out twice. Still alive. A live chicken. These are some wild camera angles!! Show the risks pretty plainly lol. Slip down & you slip waaay down.

Out of your mind mang. One stone breaks free and your done. They probably named it angles landing because everyone who 'landed' there is now an 'Angel'

    Sheer anxiety just by watching.

Hiked it spring break of '13. It really is harrowing. Probably wouldn't be bad if we didn't have to pass 50 people coming down.

Thank you so much for this video. I went on this hike a few years ago, but have almost no pictures because I put my camera in my backpack so I could have my hands free. I have tried to describe this trail to family and friends, but words just can't do it justice. Now, thanks to you, I can finally show people what an amazing experience it is!

I just did this hike last Saturday! It was terrifying, but worth it at the top. Great video.

This video is one the most SPECTACULAR videos I ever watched on CZcams, simply amazing. This trail is for people who are not afraid of heights, with a perfect balance. Not for me. I'm REALLY afraid of heights, I panic, and I fall easily too. Thanks for showing that beauty. You are so brave :)

Thanks for this video! I was there a few days ago and just couldn't do it - too scary. I got a few hundred yards in and had to go back - this video helps me see what I missed. I left the Zion Lodge at
