Great video, love the opening riff!
Sounds authentic. and cool artwork \,,/
Cool video and pedal.
loving the vids! Could you do a tone guide for suffocations effigy of the forgotten album?
I bet 5$ the algorithm will snag you though 🤣
They did a great job with that pedal! They must have some really talented engineers there because I am looking at getting their soft focus pedal.
Short and to the point, great video as always! Thank you for sharing!
It hasn't yet. I guess I broke the songs up enough or played the riffs badly enough where it hasn't detected it. I'll argue fair use if it does. I'm, going to have to try a couple of their other pedals. The recording doesn't really do this pedal justice. Thanks for watching!
Get the soft focus - I did two months ago and it's a terrific pedal, probably my favorite reverb. Like a symphony in a small enclosure.
I A/B 'd it with the Catalinbread Echorec pedal - the final verdict was Soft focus 10/10, Echorec 6/10. Might not have been a fair comparison, but keep in mind that the Echorec is a pretty good pedal. I have no interest in gain/fuzz/distortion pedals, so no comment on Sabbra Cadabbra. Most of the Catalinbread pedals, including the Soft Focus, will accept an 18v power supply, a hidden benefit.@@Guitarnivore
Can you please play through the katana I'm not sold on the katana as a pedal platform yet I do how ever ow you a huge thanks .You helped me with everything about my katana huge help a lot of work on your part much appreciated .Tim from London canada
I was actually playing this through the Katana with the rec/phones out, directly into the amp on a clean channel and a little reverb.
Hi there. I've just received my pedal. Can you tell me which side is IN and which is OUT? I'm worried about damaging it. Thanks
Going through an Iommi phase? I go through those on the regular lol
Kind of. I figured if I was going to try the guitar, I might as well try it with the pedal.
What amp and settings were you using here?
I was playing through a Boss Katana 100 mk2, but I had the EQ's set to noon on a clean channel with just a touch of reverb. I used a Shure SM57 to record it a little off center from the speaker.
I've owned this pedal just over a year. It absolutely nails that classic Iommi tone. I ended up finding "my tone" using this pedal with out sounding like I'm trying to rip off Sabbath. Worth *every*single*penny.
I don't feel that this video really captures the tone very well. There is definitely a delicate balance you have to find when dialing it in. Really good pedal. Thanks for watching and commenting!
