I have a question for you, is there a way to get one of the catamaran donated to a Disable American veteran, so to be able to follow his dreams in sailing around the world or to an area close to where he lives. I watched many of your videos that you made while being there in the boat yard where all the hurricane damaged catamarans are still waiting for someone come by and buy them. I believed that you know many ways to help me in following my dreams, but I been studies many videos and youtubers that live on sailboats and find it most rewarding for themselves. Thanks for listens and being there for me in my darkest time.

Ok where are these boat yards. I know a little about fiberglass repair & metal work. (Ex - Aircraft Mech.)
I wonder why the inverted boats were not flipped over, in the yard? It was kinda' painful to see them, wrong side up.
I got a video of flipping a Leopard 48 in place with the travel lift. Pretty crazy. Lots of other stuff too, just too busy working to get it online. The 48 at one point was standing completely vertical on its bows!!

hey Guys where are all these Catamarans I want to buy one not to fix and sell want to make it my home I am a marine technician my goal is to fix her up in 3 years time gap due to time and doing it on my own its a fun project for me and the end result is what fuels me to take on a project like this thank you

Where are you located at and how much can you get on of them for . If so can we fix it up there before we move it . And also I am disabled and I would like to live my dream out on the ocean. And my SSI is not much . Or if I like one can it be donated to me so I can fix it up to be able to life out my dream .

Convert motor rooms to electric drive. Cover it in solar panels. Good to go
Ive actually been researching this but their isnt much info on do it yourself , is it affordable
Silent yachts 55. Basic recipe; 10kw solar, chinese e-bus engines, 210kw lithium, 100kw generator. Battery pack on the cheap (salvage tesla) is gonna cost you 20k atleast, so doable yes, cheap not yet.
Oh btw, solarwave 46, was the proof of concept build. I'm guestimating that a decent e-build will cost 40-60k in materials atleast.

10-20% market value to buy, 10-20% market value to repair, 10% contingency. But that all depends on you, you ability to auction, manage repairs and funds.

I was just about to say that! Thanks. I try to keep my videos more like a 'music video' than a more traditional blog. Obviously it doesn't garner as many views as if I talked it through or showed my face, but it's just how I wanted to so my face, but just doing it my own way..

I saw a video and this one guy buys a 450 with hole on one side of the rear...so he bought it for 225,000.....why soo expensive if they're salvage.....15,000 is a good price for salvage...plus you have to do some work on it not metion finance.
