Great photoshoot. I liked seeing the preset photos too. I know it's more expensive, but which camera would you rather have and why, the A7IV or the A9II ? Thanks.
I had to spilt it up in 2 parts. 1 hour during my lunch break and the remainder just now. I love these long videos. Such an inspiration to get out there shoot. Alas it's pouring rain 😭
I'm waiting until I get home from work, brew some coffee, put my feet up and escape to streets of NY. Long form vids like this are my jam.
Parts and im thankful for those Videos. I learn a lot from those. Thank you Pierre
Bro which camera is your favorite.
please tell us bro😃
how he takes pictures of random things we see everyday and turns them into beautiful masterpieces is mind blowing
That's about the best thing about street photography and why I like to shoot street myself! To notice the little things.
perhaps you need to look the word "masterpiece" in the dictionary
eay, just buy a 3k camera
That’s the magic about photography
I swear he does. First you see a bridge...then he snaps it and its like holy sh!t!!!! 😂
If you could add ISO, shutterspeed and focal length specs when showing pics, that would be awesome!
Love your videoes!
This comment is under rated!
irrelvant. they're too variable
As he mentions in another video, and I'd have to agree with, it's not that critical. Set your auto ISO min shutter speed and pic an aperture and just shoot. Street shooting isn't about spending time dialing in settings. I do agree that it would be nice to know the focal length.
Exactly my thoughts. I don't have a problem composing a capture in NYC, anywhere you look could be a great capture. I was watching the videos for the specs. Instead, he shares some irrelevant filters I'm never gonna use.
@@Aarzak but how does knowing his specs affect your photography. A lot of his shooting is spur of the moment too, meaning he just gets whatever settings the camera gives. I guess I don't understand the focus on knowing other people's settings. Most of us are just picking an aperture value, having dialed in min ss in auto iso and maybe set a 2nd back button for action shots. Who cares what settings you use. It's not landscape photography
Was not expecting this. Gives me something to watch late at night
😉
@@Pierretlambert Pierre, I think you might be in too much of a habit of automatically applying presets to your images. Many of those taken in the 12 to 15 minute marks were better before the presets. This isn't the first time I've noticed and commented on this. I've said this on prior videos of yours. One, if I recall, was where you were taking a picture of a parking structure.
@@Anon54387 He is selling those presets... so is kind of rude, IMO, to post that photos were better before the presets... and actually better or worse is just a matter of personal taste.
@@jorgemaurizio9424 this is what i was going to say
@@Anon54387 I’m just seeing this comment now but cmon bud. If you have nothing nice to say, don’t say anything at all. You are just jealous that he’s successful!
I love just sitting back, relaxing and watching your take photos. It’s amazing how you take the everyday world and make it beautiful.
After shooting the same NYC streets over and over, I loved to see your perspective of the city and how you shoot it with a different eye! So refreshing. The A7 IV is def my next big purchase!
That won't make you any better.
@@canturgan jeez, why are you so negative?
@@mrobitwice77 Because it's the person, not the equipment. I suppose a new toy can inspire you for a while, but in the end it's literally the photographer's vision.
@@canturgan They said nothing about the A7 IV making them a better photographer, nor implied such. They admired his work and then said that's their next camera choice.
Literally no one said gear is the maker of good work. Just grind that axe at random people, I guess lol.
Sony cameras are garbage, had an A7RII.. I'll stick to Canon
When he tossed his camera in 10:25
My heart skipped a beat.
The intro of the video is literally his camera bag 30 ft away from him with a couple scopes all worth a couple thousand dollars and his a7iv with his 1.2 gmaster on top of it outside of a subway entrance in ghetto ass New York lol
In the first minutes of this video you can see how impressed you are. You are looking in all directions to find possible photospots.
NYC is so gorgeous. Big streets, tall skyscrapers with so many windows, lights everywhere you look, people running around and dont give a shit what you are doing.
Also signs and simple things are more colourful than in Germany.
In Germany you make a picture of a person and they get pissed, cause officially its not allowed to make pictures from people without their permission.
Great video. thank you...
Unless they happen to be in shot and not the clear subject of the photography.
EU Rules have damaged our photography passion. :/
I dont see it 🤣
We can take pictures of people in public spaces without their permission in the UK. We're not in the EU either.
@@canturgan Shame really, the 52% believed the lies.
This is the best photographic ASMR:
- not too much talking
- life sounds in background (wind etc.)
- the best photos in Photography World
- You’re the best photographer 📸
- I love it
- I’m happy as a kid! 😂
- When I got your notification I woke up from my coffin to watch your video! ⚰️
- I knew it you are robocop, not a human with your best photos 😂
Weirdo
@@martijn7593 that was rude af
you forgot that there is no "snapshot" sound effect when he shows the final pictures
He is average at best, anyone can take the photos he does
@@Postbus22 hehe
These are my all time favorite types of videos of yours! Love these long ones. I feel like we’re just chillin and taking pics!
16:17 well he wasn't happy about the bike lmao
I know right?! 😹😹
Porque o cara não deu um soco na cara do ciclista e foi embora?
I definitely need more PURE shot series!! Loving your videos 🥰
Bro....that intro was so sick. Imagine a real game in which we do street photography 😍😍
You could always go outside and do it for real I guess… :)
@@patrickmcc3022 Precisely
Uhmmm... GTA? :)
fr tho a pro street photography game would be hella slick
What😭, go outside
Thank you for taking us on this Epic photo session!
I love that you showed the usefulness of the Articulating LCD in action!
I love the thought you put into this video. The fact that you even showed us the experience from 1st person. love it
You will probably never see this but I just want to thank you you were the CZcamsr who started me on my photography journey and I’ve started and it’s my passion and I wanna dedicate my life to it I think you greatly
Keep it up!! I see you ;-)
Nobody does these better than you man. I look forward to them every time! Thanks for sharing!
Love these POV's! Made my day. Thanks PTL 👏👏👏
The technique where you walk past, behind something, then peek back; so clutch. I'm stealing this! Thank you. Cool to see you work
I love NYC and watching this video is like I'm watching my dream i really love the way you got exited by something you spot far away or just across the streets . I really appreciate your work just to make this video and years behind when your relationship started with the photography this is a love story for life i hope one day I'll join you on these amazing breathing streets of NYC!
Am I dreaming???? 2 hours of street photography. Wow!!! 😍😍
11:27 even as a beginner I had that very excited feeling about those shots, man I can’t wait for my 70-200mm to get here, I wanna go back to New York 😭
5:20 so creative 🔥
Agreed! 🔥
I am fascinated by this video, because I love the way it interacts with people and the environment where photos can be taken, ideal for any urban photographer, thank you very much !!
You inspire me Pierre. I love your videos and makes me want to learn and do better. Thank you 🙏🏾
I absolutely enjoy your videos. Especially ones like these that are long. It inspires me to go out and shoot more. Great work!
love the arcade intro and thanks for sharing this! NYC is so much fun for street photography - made my favorite street pictures there some years ago PS: watching this in one session!
Love these videos!! Love to see how people do street photography. Even just watching this I can see many compositions. However people interest me less and the architecture grabs me more. That's just how I roll. That's what makes photography so great. Keep up the great work! Fantastic production value btw.
I struggle with composition. I have the technical knowledge, but the artistic touch is something I lack. Hopefully I can develop it.
So much to learn from this video! Bravo Pierre!👏
Watching this is fueling the anticipation I have for my A7IV to arrive, my first full frame camera!
This was an incredible 2 hours of my life please post more!!!
Beau travail. Tes vidéos sont immersives. Merci pour le voyage. 😍
My favorite city to visit - NYC! So many interesting things to see and photographs...
This makes me want to visit next weekend!
You made a very interesting shot of the city. This makes it possible to relax and be happy because you take beautiful and good-looking photos.
All these years doing street, seeing it in third-person makes me realize how creepy it is to other people xd
100% soooooooo awkward 😆
It's super creepy and it doesn't really have a place in the modern world. People are rightfully worried about how photos will be used, and it's not like everyday life isn't documented by non-"photographers" with phones. Basically, if you want to do something artistic, pick up painting.
@@fredriksvard2603 anything else Freddie?
@@TheCirrusIce yeah my couch got uncomfortable recently
It was really interesting to see your shooting process, thank you for this video! ❤
we actually need lots of this! ♥
Loving the new intro graphics to this video, it was fun.
You inspired me to start my own channel! Loving your POV content bro!
I like your tours through the citys with the camera. 👌🏻

i just cant even imagine the patience a guy needs to edit a video of this kind!
Great job........Really!!!
And edit the photos AND upload them to the video......crazy
Just bought this camera :) can't wait to go to new york to snap some incredible pics!
Oh man you did Mosco Street! It’s my favorite street in the world. So glad someone else recognizes how great it is!
I absolutely love this video! Just sheer talent and a natural eye for street photography (not saying you haven’t worked to be as good as you are mind). I am aspiring to one day achieve something similar! Would love if you could add camera settings to images next time round. Just to give the relative beginners amongst us a chance to see how you shoot in such conditions and environments. Inspirational!
Wow so much to learn from these shots!✍️
So nice Pierre ..thank you for this Video 😍👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼

That window at 4:09 would have been a crazy double exposer 😍 dope video
Very good, I enjoyed that , a great insight into street photography. Might have to give it a try.
5:18 my fav part!! Thats just awesome!!
I always admire that how few people walk in your video when you are in New York. 8.5million pepople live there. I imagined very crowded. I haven't been yet in New York city but I hope next year can. I love your pics and videos!!! 🔥🔥🔥
awesome, makes me want to get into photography more!!

Hi from Japan. I'm not very good at English, so I don't understand the words in the video very well. But for some reason I wanted to take a picture. Great video!

Great video. I took a photo walk across the bridge early September. Though your timing was better.
