Michael you’re brilliant!!! I really miss your videos with your charm, humor and creativity. Yannis you are a delightful young man. I saw how you helped Simon getting down off the scaffolding. You’ve come a long way from your bartending days. Simon, there are no words. You can do just about everything brilliantly. Last but not least kudos to Billy for his great restoration of historic properties and the care you put into it. LOVE the videos.
Well one can't say much more then that. I 100 percent agree with you! All I can say is I love how fast Billy gets videos up. There's a lot of work that gos into editing. And I think I speak for everyone by saying thank you. Following the Restoration of the convent, and the Chateau. Is just what the Dr ordered. I hope everyone has a wonderful day, keep on cracking on.
Yannis is Simon's Guardian Angel, looking out for him, and making sure he is safe. Simon has taught him all he knows now, and he has been shown the correct way to do things by Simon - what a team. Billy, you are so thoughtful for everyone, and the way that you put so much care into restoring these historic properties. Michael is a genius with his artistic talents. xxx
How sweet and considerate is Yannis looking out for Simon. It is AWESOME and WONDERFUL to see how close of friends Yannis and Simon have become. Billy you are truly blessed with the friends and work crew you choose to be part of your life❤
What you guys get yourself into is amazing. Janis is a pure gem. Everyone needs a Simon in their life. And Billy is the greatest organizer. Well done to all.
Michael, what a wonderful idea on the floor grouting. I learn so much from you, and for Simon and Yanis we could use a couple of you to do some similar for us, we have our workers follow these vlogs and they use what they learn from you on their work around here. Thank you Billy for your vlogs. Florida, USA
Such a Genius❤! How many people can make painted flat wood look like 3D paneling trim so much that Everyone who sees it has to touch it to be sure that It's Just Paint😮!
Simon seems to have absolutely no fear and knows how to fix just about everything! What a cool guy! If I was up there, my knees would be shaking so much and the scaffolding wobbling so much that you wouldn't be ablt to get any clear audio at all. And wow, doesn't Micheal just have an artist's soul.... let's just find some dirt and ash and make this look fantastic! NBD!
I am so glad you are back at the chateau catching up on the renovations. It is a magnificent structure that needs to be lived in and used for a purpose.
I'm eating banana nut muffins and coffee with cream on a cold rainy day in Iowa. I'm settled in for another video from Billy and the crew. I've learned so much from all of you, historical, remodeling, work techniques, and so on. Thank you for your channel and CRACK ON! 😁❤👍
Billy, you live such a peaceful life and busy too, no traffic, no lawn movers, no big trucks going by, that's life in a city. You have great helpers Yannis, Simon and Michael I am happy for you. One day I am hoping to move somewhere peaceful and lots of nice scenery, one day :) Michaels idea is just brilliant, till tomorrow, have a nice evening.
Being afraid of heights, it truly makes me nervous just seeing the scaffold. Having willing friends to do these jobs is such a gift. For the trolls - yes they are getting paid to work, but there is still the option to say no. Hope the leak is sealed without needing more work immediately. I love Michaels thought process and solution for the pointing, it looks great. Great colour sense and colour matching.
I had sweaty palms watching the scaffolding wobbling. Yanis looking out for Simon when climbing down. Love how Simon refers to Yanis as Yan ❤ Michael’s brilliant idea - adding sand/ash to the epoxy. Nice camera work, Billy. Maine USA
There is so much respect and admiration between Yanis and Simon, they are the Team! Great work! Michael is so creative, can't wait to see the final result! xox
What a brave team going up on that high tower!! So glad that you were all safe and back on the ground. Michael is such an artist to do what he is going.....so talented!! Great job Michael!!
As Simon was up on the roof I was thinking he will be glad to get back on the golf course!😂 Brilliant ideas as usual Michael. He truly is a genius! Yanis, you are always so brave and such a hard worker. Happy weekend to all the Petherick's.
Someone else mentioned in the comments of the last video that a piping bag would make much easier work of that epoxy application. I'll heartily second that sentiment! You can still tape the edges, and smooth the tops, but a masonry piping bag like bricklayers use to point stonework would allow you to pipe the epoxy directly into the seams and then you'd just need to scrape off the extra, and throw your sand mixture on top.
Michael needs a masonry piping bag. It looks just like a piping bag to decorate cakes, but made for masonry work.. made for filling cracks and gaps with mortar.
Nice to see you out and about Michael. I’ve bin searching for vids/blogs of your courtyard repairs prior to your kitchen project rebuild on your own DIY channel but found nothing. I also looked for follow ups on your greenhouse repair but you didn’t seem to have much there either. Which was a disappointment. Hope the plant 🪴 you moved is still thriving. Billy I’m sorry to see that the sinks still haven’t arrived at the convent. Hopefully they will arrive soon. Much Respect to you all.
I am hopeful for the preservation of these historic chateaus and homes when I see the quality of workmanship and care you and your team exemplify! Love watching your videos.
Great intro, beautiful to see & ❤ the music. I must say that I have acrophobia -- I am fine in an airplane, but even seeing high scaffolding gives me a bit of vertigo. You are all BRAVE & STRONG! I thought of you all when I saw scaffolding going up to the roof of a tall 3 story building. Roof was Spanish tiles - the brick color type. I assume the roof was being worked on? I found myself staring at the time (I was in my car, in a parking lot, so I could gawk). Scary! Blessings to all the Pethericks & the wonderful team!!
Michael, the job you are doing looks fantastic, you are so creative . Simon and Yannis, you guys put your hand to anything. I so admire your skills and your ability to scale heights.
😂😂😂 Billy? What are you going to do without Simon when things get wobbly? That was too funny....Simon enjoyed doing that wobbly move on the scaffold. 😂😂😂
Micheal, you are very creative. The sand and Ash works very well. Guys, I was a bit nervous seeing you all on the scaffolding. I hope that stops the leaks. We'll done. Yannis is very protective over Simon. They have a great bond. Enjoy your weekend, guys.❤
Hi everyone, brave men on the scaffolding. Your intelligent men, so very careful. I must say very impressed with Michael’s coloring with the sand. Looks great Michael. Joyce❤️🙏🇺🇸
I almost couldn't watch you. I'm terrified of heights. Fingers crossed it seals whatever was leaking. And brilliant job, Michael! I wondered if it was going to be too bright. I like your solution.
This takes me back a bit to when you repaired the top parts on the roof and rolled the zinc yourself in the shape to match the rest. It’s always enjoyable to watch what’s being done there at your place. Nice intro too, btw
You guys ( excluding the innuendo lol) are so nice to listen to and watch! Respectful and kind with a genuine commitment to working together and supporting each other! Nice❤
Great video Billy. We are going to miss Simon, his knowledge is wonderful. Yannis is gaining experience everyday and is such a lovely person. Michael is so creative, he has the colour of the grouting to perfection. 🙂
Very well done Gentlemen. I would not be on the scaffolding up there, you know heights and all. A somewhat easy fix on the roof. Micheal is creative and come up with a way to match the blocks on the Chateau and doing a great job of it. Have a wonderful day
Just love your whole team! I know now why I love Simon. He resembles Humphrey Bogart. Hope you have seen the old movie, “The African Queen, with Katherine Hepburn. You’ll understand why. Also, thank you Billie for ensuring everyone stays safe during your big projects.❤
LOL Billy when you were talking the straps holding the scaffolding in place wright before you went to see what Michael was doing it sounded like you said "Rat shit" straps... LOL 😂

Love the bond they have now.
That is my favorite part, protect the teacher, so sweet.
You were all more worried for each other than yourselves.
Also, please tell Yanis that his English is beautiful.
He is coming along nicely.😊😊
Yannis is Simon's Guardian Angel, looking out for him, and making sure he is safe. Simon has taught him all he knows now, and he has been shown the correct way to do things by Simon - what a team. Listen to the birds. They are so happy that spring has come.❤
Simon’s has a fan club! 💕 Glad we’re going to see him a few days at his farmhouse. Starting to feel a little lost … hope he feels the love 💗
I was holding my breath during the roof repair. Great job Simon and Yannis!
How sweet and considerate is Yannis looking out for Simon. It is AWESOME and WONDERFUL to see how close of friends Yannis and Simon have become. Billy you are truly blessed with the friends and work crew you choose to be part of your life❤
Of course the family artist would think up a great way to color the light grey!!! Genius!
Wow, Michael is very creative. Who knew sand and soot could make the grouting look old.
Beaut intro Billy. Great going for a visit to the Convent. You are clever Michael that looks original.
What you guys get yourself into is amazing. Janis is a pure gem. Everyone needs a Simon in their life. And Billy is the greatest organizer. Well done to all.

Lovely images of your dad moving the wood, Billy. The kind of thing that really makes you stop and think.
NBD!
Billy, Simon is your anchor. What a great guy! Yanis is unreplaceable! Bless all of you!
Yannis is awesome. Doing heights is a scary thing and he just goes for it 🎉
You go for it when you don't have a choice
Now you can put the charcoal in the garden and feed the plants! Love you Michael.
Love how Michael uses the gloved hand to hold the bucket and the bare hand to mix the dirt!
Sca-a-ry work. Thank you Yannis for offering an arm to Simmon on the scaffolding-you are a caring young man.
Hearing the birds chirping in the background adds to your video ! Yannis helping Simon, you can tell he cares about him !
Billy, your home and convent are really coming along. You have assembled a great team.
I am so glad you are back at the chateau catching up on the renovations. It is a magnificent structure that needs to be lived in and used for a purpose.
Brilliant on coloring the grout on the patio
I'm eating banana nut muffins and coffee with cream on a cold rainy day in Iowa. I'm settled in for another video from Billy and the crew. I've learned so much from all of you, historical, remodeling, work techniques, and so on. Thank you for your channel and CRACK ON! 😁❤👍

11:27 Oh geez, i held my breath the whole time you guys were on that scaffold! The 3 of you are way braver than me!
"Be careful Simon"... caring. That Lad looks toughly tatted but he's really a red headed bunny rabbit. Beware of red-headed bunnies. 🐰🐇

I worked bridge construction for 17 years ,my first few times scaling the spans were terrifying .Ya'll handled that with grace 🙂

Great filming Billy👏love your vlogs and seeing the amazing talent of Simon, Yanis and Michael . Have a great weekend xxx💕💕💕
Love the music. Billey got my head, bobbing up and down. On scaffolding, you need to make an X on both sides all the way up.
I never noticed before the crosses in the windows. Love that!
Micheal, you are very creative. The sand and Ash works very well. Guys, I was a bit nervous seeing you all on the scaffolding. I hope that stops the leaks. We'll done. Yannis is very protective over Simon. They have a great bond. Enjoy your weekend, guys.❤

This takes me back a bit to when you repaired the top parts on the roof and rolled the zinc yourself in the shape to match the rest. It’s always enjoyable to watch what’s being done there at your place. Nice intro too, btw
