Today we're making a Drive-through in Peñíscola. It's filmed in July not long after the first lockdown. There're some construction sound can be heard in this episode, because due to the Storm Gloria and the Pandemic coming one after another during January to May, the infrastructuremaintenance work hasn't been done in time. Usually those work will be finished before summer, or start from after the travel season.
The Old Town Episode: • Tiny Tour | Peñíscola ...
Peníscola or Peñíscola (Spanish) is a municipality in the Province of Castellón, Valencian Community, Spain. The town is located on the Costa del Azahar, north of the Serra d'Irta along the Mediterranean coast. It is a popular tourist destination.
The city is situated on a tombolo, a rocky peninsula, originally connected to the land only by a sandy isthmus, which made it easy to defend it, although it occasionally flooded and was buried under sea water. Currently, due to the construction of the port and the buildings on the isthmus, this curious fact has disappeared. On the rock stands the old town, of which stands the castle of the Pope Moon, dividing the Peñíscola coast in two absolutely different halves.
There are abundant archaeological remains found in the vicinity of the tombolo, in the Poaig and Els Barrancs sites, which confirm the settlement of the area by some Iberians, as well as the relationship between these and the Phoenician merchants who arrived by sea. (7th century BC - vi BC). In Peñíscola settled, probably, the Phoenicians from Tire and shortly after the Greeks from Zacinto. Later, Carthaginians, Romans, Byzantines and Arabs would arrive by sea.
Peñíscola, a Greek and Roman colony, was an important port through which manufactured products entered (ceramics , fabrics , weapons , etc.) which helped colonizers exchange for the precious wine and olive oil of the Iberians that populated the coastal mountains.
Currently, the tourism sector represents the main economic engine of the city, and represents a permanent transformation of it. But this economic activity also presents some conflicts with the environment, although the City Council is creating new green areas for the enjoyment of families, tourists, etc.

Une ville qui a beaucoup changé et un superbe hôtel : hotel servi group Papa Luna tout près de la vieille ville et de son château. Belles animations musicales le soir.

Thank you guys. Great video. This pictures of coastal Mediterranean town attract me a lot especially when they were grabbed during a beautiful sunny day, without any cloud. (I really can't remember any rainy day during my stays in Spain).

Thanks Adam😁. I hope you had a great weekend. Yes, Mediterranean weather is really cozy, mostly sunny and comfortable. But I remember the trip to the north is full of cloudy days. Having great weather during trip is really lucky and blessed. Nothing worse than being stuck in a hotel in stormy days when travelling, that's what happened to a lot of travelers here in January this year when Storm Gloria hit many provinces in Spain.⚡💧⚡💧⚡💧

Yes, totally. That's probably the reason why it'd been chosen as one of the filming locations for Game of Thrones.
