I loved blaque's style it was equal parts anime , and futuristic I think they looked like real life Bratz dolls .

Thank you for this video. Sometimes I think Blaque was one of those rare girl groups that, we’re it not for a string of unfortunate events and label mishandling, couldve ruled the world. It’s a rarity to see black girl pop groups, and I’m happy to see that their legacy is such a strong one. I’m gonna listen to their discography right now!!!

I love this video so much!!! Blaque was one of my favorite girl group. My number one favorite song is I'm good. That song was my childhood song, and I still listen to their music today. 💖
I always heard people say mis-teeq was the the uk equivalent to blaque .

You just earned a subscriber. I wasn't even alive when they first hit the scene in the late 90's, so I've longed for a retrospective as in depth as this for a short while. And my word, this exceeded my expectations. Quite a bit of stuff I knew already just from being a fan for a few years, and other stuff I had no idea about. Thank you for making this video. Ever since I became a fan, I've felt they were incredibly underrated and they deserved a lot better, both in and outside of the group. I'm off to watch your other vids now, of course I know Missy, but haven't heard much of Play or Dream beyond 1 or 2 songs I liked. But you spoke so eloquently in this vid, so I'm sure those will be great too! Thanks again for making this, you're so awesome! :)

They were on the run to be huge, that's why Mathew Knowles got rid of them - as he thought they'd be competition to Destiny's Child. I'd say their debut album is one of the best albums of all time.
