  • I get a lot of questions regarding what I do and don't burn in a fire, using snow or ice for water consumption and many more questions that I am answering in today's video. Keep the questions coming, because I love answering them and I am sure that you have the question, someone else wants the answers too! 😉

I can totally understand why you don’t video Kenai getting in and out for potty breaks. When I take my dog on the long trip to visit my daughter the 8 hour trip ends up to a 10 hour trip! I can’t imagine how much time it would add setting up video equipment. It’s always a joy watching your videos! Stay safe and keep living your dream…

  • @lovinYah838

I didn't watch your video yet but I wish it was longer than 17 minutes. I miss the longer ones❤

  • @user-hv5hu9de6m

  • @denisescull4227

I appreciate your approach to questions, even when they are posed in a way that could be offensive. Thank you for sharing your interesting life in an interesting way!

I keep my home in the fifties…you really do get used to it…sleeping isn’t a problem..you just have plenty of blankets..and I have a house sweater…I prefer it to ridiculous utility bills

It always tickles me to death when people go well aren't you going to bring something in on the wood will let me see you manage to get here by pioneer people that stack their wood and brought it in to burn it the same way as this woman does every day so......... My grandma was born in 1918 and I got to have her until she was 93 years old and she taught me how to Bank of fire and that you wanted to burn slow with red embers you don't want it to necessarily have a flame that's not the hottest part of the fire. To start restart your fire from the coals and that are in your stove because they are much easier and hot to catch the new material.

Companies are stupid for not shipping to PO Boxes sine there are many areas that have no addresses or street names. What wrong with PO Box deliveries? They usually release goods with a signature when one presents an ID.

  • @robertgraves3215

You look just lovely in oil lamplight with wood- spirit orbs dancing over the crackling pan. (As the Victrola plays on) . Whoever commented about that has never been in a smoky cabin. Then next scene is mind blowing panorama of those mountains. I follow 3 or 4 Alaska channels, and oh man. those shots are all so awesome. I think bears actually do understand turf boundaries well enough. Sure, they'll start trouble when they can get away with it. Just like when Kenai realizes that licking caked mud off is totally bogus. So why do that. You get what you go for.

I’m a FLORIDA girl. I would be miserable there! I hate cold weather.i would want my temperature at least 70 in my house.

  • @PandJsHomesteadAdventure

Hi Alone! Great Q&A video. Sorry to hear your dealing with mud, but glad to hear the snow is melting, and spring is headed your way. See you on the next one!

  • @alexblue8317

I really can't understand why many people complain about having your dog on a leash. I live in the city and i have my dog on a leash for his protection, and because i also respect others. Your dog may don't bite, but the others don't know it. And besides that you shouldn't force your dog onto them, sniffing them and get in their way. Not everyone likes dogs and that's their right.

Also...kudos on answering (accumulated) questions from your viewers in your background narrative, all while videotaping daily life/chores. A great combo and relaxing to watch.

  • @SuzieQ-lw2kp

Alone, what a lovely video thank you for taking the time to answer questions about everything. What a magnificent view as you was driving absolutely beautiful You live in the most beautiful state IMO.

  • @AnneHeyns

One can never be too careful where bears are concerned, in my humble opinion. That food made my tummy rumble now...
