Davis was wonderful in this show. Her, the young actor playing Kirsten and the actor playing Jeevan really made the show. Beautiful.
She has such mesmerizing eyes😍😍😍
5:36 LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOL
"huh!"
now show me cool!
"PSSHEW!!"
thats was SOOOO SWEET!!
Mackenzie Davis was very good in Station Eleven, but the series as a whole was stunning in scope and beauty. It's incredibly earnest, scratching away at the cynicism and nihilism that I think we would otherwise associate with pandemic subject matter. That's the reason it worked.
What's the show about? It's about narrative itself: how one story can become everyone's story; how your individual truth is sometimes best expressed through others' words. It's about remembering and repeating, seeming and being, staying and leaving. I loved it.
BUT WHY DOES COLBERT ONLY HAVE PEOPLE ON WHO ARE FAMOUS OR RICH?
HOW OFTEN DOES HE INTERVIEW A GUEST....who isn't ADVERTISING A PRODUCT?
A: NEVER.
He's Donald Trump, with less ethics!
A MILLIONAIRE WHO ONLY HAS CORPORATE TOOLS ON HIS SHOW?
Curious!
She's Awesome 💟
so you're saying it's the Ted Lasso of apocalyptic tv shows? I like the ones that are realistic, like when they're starving and forced to eat their kids. That's the real world.
@@Zennofobic Mm, I don't think it shies away from realism or desperation-especially the first few episodes. But I don't think it's the emotional or ideological core of the series. The tagline "survival is insufficient" does a good job of capturing this. The series is interested in the "post" part of "post-apocalyptic", compared to a movie like 10 Cloverfield Lane, which is very much about the gritty reality of survival on top of the psychological devastation.
@@manLiMarth well I've heard good things about the series and looking forward to checking it out.. in fact, I was being tongue in cheek about liking gritty realism. Something positive is never a bad thing. I remember watching The Road (where they do eat your kids) and that movie was so depressing and horrifying I"ll never watch it again. Big fan of McKenzie since HCF anyways.
Station 11 is a great book as well - it speaks to the potential of humans for collaboration, compassion and resilience. Very much not The Walking Dead. FYI in a surreal twist they shot the film pretending Toronto was Chicago - while in the book, Toronto was …Toronto.
It's always funny .
That way .
It's like the international border is a magic one way mirror to cultural marketing .
Maybe Toronto needs to change its name to Tatooine
To get more market recognition.
Chicago is a beautiful city that has historic architecture rivaled only by NYC. Toronto is gorgeous too but a more modern setting. The focus on Arthur probably lead them to focus on a theater district that was more visually "Broadway".
She was amazing in Terminator
She's absolutely gorgeous 😍
Mackenzie ❤️ 👏👏I mean... Terminator, San Junipero (Black Mirror), Halt and Catch Fire, Tully, Always Shine, The Martian, Blade Runner, The Turning, What If, A country called Home, Happiest Season and now Station Eleven...what a versatile actress. She knows how to play very different roles. She's been amazing since she started acting.
AND... like Ryan Reynolds and Seth Rogen, he's from my home town of Vancouver. So that's another bright star in our local sky.
She's also voiced a character in the recent Love Death and Robots season, she's very much establishing herself as a Sci Fi legend.
I met twins Mackenzie
This show was so amazing! Loved the entire cast but Mackenzie’s performance was incredible. Happy they gave her the role.

I met twins Mackenzie
Vancouver is proud of this daughter!
What an outfit and those boots- she is exquisitely beautiful
I loved Station 11. It evolves way beyond pandemic stuff and becomes about art and human connection. It's a very lovely show.
I idolise this young lady. She is just an amazing actor and she just seems so down to earth and fun. Mackenzie was also in one of my favourite movies of all time, Bladerunner 2049, and although her part was only minor she was just amazing. This kid is a huge talent, beautiful, smart and personable - she is going to be a superstar. Love from Australia. x
"If you are a machine, what is your function?"
She's the fucking best. I love everything about her..
I am here just to watch Mackenzie Davis. Miss Her very very much!
so glad Stephen got to interview Mackenzie and talking about Station Eleven - my favorite show from 2021
The mini-serie is an absolute gem.
Station Eleven is transcendently good! So brilliantly conceived, filmed and performed! Shoutout to Mackenzie who attended McGill University in my hometown Montreal!
Always been in loved with Mackenzie Davis’ performance every time. We need more Mack screen time oh my gawd
I love her since H&CF
Love me some Mackenzie Davis especially in Halt and catch fire and freaks of nature. Funny and beautiful has to be the best winning combination.
Station Eleven is EVERYTHING. 10 episodes of astonishment. Seen it at least 8 times in the past two weeks. It will shake you to your core and then piece you back together again. Healing. Mesmerizing. WATCH IT PEOPLE!
Mackenzie Davis would make a perfect Batwoman for DCEU
stephen was blushing!
LOVED Mackenzie in Terminator: Dark Fate (the REAL Terminator 3).
she was great and i agree on it being the real terminator 3!!!
I love the jumping back and forth each episode between perspectives and timelines. They indicate things happen but make you wait to find out how. Subtle, but still keeps you surprised in the direction the story goes.
More of Mackenzie please! She’s so talented and beautiful!!!
Yesss Pleaseee 👐
She’s a delight. Station 11 was fantastic. Truly
San Junipero ❤
Amazing Mackenzie 💕💕💕
Well she is just delightful. I guess I should have expected that from a Canadian.
I have an intense crush on this woman 😍😍😍
She is an amazing actress.
I do not know where I know her face from, but from seeing her before, I know she’s an INCREDIBLE actress. I’m so excited to see this interview it’s like I’m meeting a new friend
She's so Gorgeous & cute as well.
She looks so cute throwing cool
Definitely will watch all Mackenzie's show happily
Station Eleven was exceptional. Not a bad performance to be found, and the direction and camera work were first class.
Anyone thinking they might not want to watch a show about a pandemic should reconsider. This was the most hopeful depiction of the end of the world I’ve ever seen, and I finished the final episode with a smile.
Cool, I was planning on watching it, but the past few months I just got tired of watching TV shows. Maybe I'll take a look this weekend.
What a beautiful/charming/intelligent woman-plus she can protect you with her knife throwing skills!
And Funny as always 😁
Mackenzie Davis is the captain Marvel we deserve...
Yes, please! 🙏😢😢😢
And BatLady? 😂😂
Come back to us Mackenzie, we miss you!! Can't wait to see what you are up to next!!
Of course she’s Canadian! Greatest country on the planet
Oh wow, She's gorgeous hot lady!
I love Mackenzie in Terminator DF, Tully, The Turning, Halt & Catch Fire, Happiest Season, and off course STATION ELEVEN.
Absolutely loved Station 11, but her role in Denis Villeneuve’s Blade Runner 2049 was fantastic as well
oh snap I just noticed that was her, ty
Loved her in Terminator: Dark Fate as well
Also, The Martian🙂
@@kelstwin3176 omg ur right !
What role has she in Bladerunner? I saw it like 5 times and I can’t remember seeing her
In all her movies, Mack is an spectacle!!
She should have been Captain Marvel
Mackenzie Davis has been awesome in every part she played. Big fan.
Am a huge Fan here 💖💖💖
Somehow after watching this show I felt the need to reduce my online time. So for 1.5 months I used my phone only for one hour a day, and that felt good and I started reading again and learned to play a lot new tunes on kalimba
Both she and the actress who played her younger self were so phenomenal in the show that I have to remind myself constantly that they are not the same person.
BEST SHOW OF 2021/2022
I love this actress!
I didn't expect to love this show this much. Truly beautiful.
She was a fun interview
Love Mackenzie, been too long since we’ve seen an in person interview from her
5:33 ♥️
I absolutely LOVE Halt and Catch Fire!!!
Wow she’s stunningly beautiful 👑🌹💯

It's not your usual post-pandemic stories. I love it to bits! JUST F***ING WATCH IT. It's the best. You won't regret it.
Oh.. I really regret it a bit, since I didn't see Mackenzie appearence in some episodes 😥💔
I just love her.
I just love her too
I ADORE @MackenzieDavis in #Halt&CatchFire! Cannot wait to see the new show! This woman is uber talented and UNDER UTILIZED!
Ah, that's where I remember her from! HCF was such a good show!
That's because She's so Adorable 💗💗
Does great in Station Eleven. The series gives hope to Humanity.
I’m in love with her 😍
♥ Halt & Catch Fire
Incredible show, she was incredible in it
I loved her in Black Mirror and What If
5:30 - The knife-throwing dichotomy, defined.
Without Mackenzie I wouldn't have watched Terminator. I'm glad I did but mostly because she is such a stunner a 10.
must be seen. and thanks for great actor’s work!
She looks so good in black
Yes, but I looked at her, felt cold, and put on a fleece!
Pretty sure you can leave off the in black part. She is delightful and gorgeous.
Amazing in Halt & Catch Fire
Station Eleven is a GREAT show!!!
Her neck and arms are so stylized.
Great Actres.
Station Eleven, great show!
She wows
I really enjoyed Station Eleven, if there’s a second season I’ll definitely watch it.
czcams.com/video/OjznBswJBi4/video.html
Limited Series, 1 season only
It doesn’t need a second series, because that would most likely ruin it.
Great show so far. Really enjoying it and questions that come up. If everything fell apart, how would we chose to build it back?
She's lovely.
Now I want Stephen to do an interview with Gator.
Just finished watching Station Eleven, absolutely loved it!
Me too ❤️
WooWWW... 🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰
Stars in perfect alignment when Stephen says, "Here's footage of you practicing to throw a knife," and for me at least, the video cuts to an ad of whiskey being poured. Bravo.
She would have made a great Robin on HIMYM too
Clear missed opportunity to use the word 'Shakespearience".
Station Eleven sounds like a documentary of our future.
Who caught the Chopin reprise
Love her
Never heard of it but she's delightful so am getting it now.
Halt and catch fire, you must see that. All cast is amazing in there
Station 11 takes place around where I grew up.
Fantastic show.
Damn she’s so lovely 😍
Love the show, Mackenzie is amazing ❤️❤️
For some weird reason I never figured out, I always, since I was five, loved futuristic movies.
Same here. I think my first big sci fi movie moment was seeing Blade Runner on tv as a kid.
That was nice.
Lolle the boss is flying! A new terminator ! 😁 plz plz plz !
Full of Grace story ❤️
Delightful.
I'm biased, Halt and catch fire was 🔥 did it end on season 4? it was such un uncut gem.. Her doing other projects, feels like seeing Aaron Paul not playing Jesse Pinkman.. Her throw knife game 💯👌☺️
Not cool: ahuh
Cool: phew
Ok, noted 😂
Loved the show, loved her 🥰
