Two things I don't get: why use a log arch if you're going to drag the end? Aren't you supposed to be able to lift the whole log? And then, if you're going to cut it into firewood rounds, why not just do that where it sits and haul the rounds? I think you need to give that log arch to me, I'll put it to good use! :-)
Naw the whole purpose of a log arch is to lift one end for dragging, its less work for the mule teams and now four-wheelers also dragging to the place of cutting is much more efficient then cutting in place unless you have a big trailer or bucket loader. Pulling 1 big log out its easier and quicker then 20 small logs.
looks good , My comment woiuld be this,. much over built for the type and size of log you might be hauling, you need to redesign so logs aren't being drug on the ground, other wise I believe it's a great build.
Hello there! Looks like you have a great logg hauler,i´m about to build one my self. What dimensions and thickness did you use on the metal structure? Regards Jan Erik
That my friend is a sweet set up, I love it. thanks for sharing and keep up the great work

Never tow a log from the winch cable... use the solid hook on the chassis of the lift.
Nice video, thanks for sharing, what type of tree is that?
Looks like helper needs to eat a few more sandwiches. Actually, I like your implement!

What powers the winch and what is pulling capacity. I would like one that can pull the long from woods. To arch. Thanks
The winch was just powered through the ATV's battery. I believe the winch was either 2000lb or 2500lb.
Nice vid. Lieked. Subed. Shaire. Favurite.
Good job
Got that gas money though?
Nah, saws steam powered
Сделали как у вас!!) Практически такой же получился. Осталось покрасить:
