Thanks for the video! Covered much more than I expected. I used to work there for three years and the resort has expanded a lot. There were only 5(!) three story buildings in 1993-1996. It was long before the hurricane Ivan devastated it dramatically. Thanks again and Good Luck!
I am going there in 3 weeks for vacation and was wondering what the sargassum situation was like in front of Morritt's. This video was very helpful! Did you go swimming/snorkeling in the water at all?
The sargassum is quite bad on the whole eastern and most of the southern part of the island. We never went in the water at the resort, but it did seem like the water was fine if you walked out on the dock past the seaweed along the shore.
