If the doctor places a long stent in the vessel, the surgeon cannot place a graft during surgery in the future There is a high failure rate associated with this procedure. These treatments help reduce symptoms and improve quality of life but do not reduce mortality rates. If a cardiologist recommends CABG, it is advisable to proceed with that option.
