- Here is the most recent tour of my clock collection. Some rooms has been changed (expect for the upstairs hallway.) Several people wanted me to do an updated clock collection tour and i finally did it!

Since 7 December 2021 i have moved my clocks to this room due to my old one was too small and its running out of space. If you watch my clock collection playlist then you will definitely notice those changes.

I have two 19th century onyx and slate mantel clocks. One is time and strike and the other which is inherited is time only. Thats more than enough for me.

Why some clocks sound one or two minutes after the correct time? I've noticed it several times, apparently it's a very common thing to see.
the schatz triple chime used to chime wrongly now it is chiming correctly and perfectly

Great collection. You are damaging these clocks by setting them by moving the hands anticlockwise, the gear will be damaged.
Old clocks that contain countwheel striking gear cannot turn backwards. New clocks that has Rack snail striking are okay to turn back.

I stopped some of them because of the countwheel striking, that means I can't turn it back.
Usually I only wind some of them, all of the clocks are wound when i do my clock collection updates.

Or is better to save more and to buy a really old model? As far as I see, although a newer clock has less "historical attractivenes" gives you the same feeling, plus the wood and the clock itself usually is in better condition. Thanks in advance!

You know that clocks should not be turned in the opposite direction. They should only be rotated clockwise!!!!!!!!!!
If clock has countwheel it can’t be turned back. If they don’t, they are safe to turn back.
