The Wolven Storm was the first piece of music I heard from the Witcher series. I immideately fell in love with this beautiful ballad, its warm and bittersweet mood. I played it over and over again even before I first tried the game itself.
One autumn evening I thought of how thrilling would it be to touch those magical notes with the tips of my own fingers and sing it the way I feel the story of Geralt and Yennefer.
I wrote down the notes as I heard them and spent a few late cozy evenings pursuing the feel of the song.
I hope you will sense a piece of that magic again with that piano vocal cover, my friend.

That’s what I thought, actually. But there was an interesting mention in the comments below from a person who introduced to be a cousin of the author, and I was told the song was never supposed to be sung by a man. So we’re kinda lawbreakers here 🌚

When i first heard Priscilla sing this, i honestly silent cried during it. Didnt make a sound but the tears flowed hard. Partially because i knew I'd never hear it for the first time again

This song was written for a Man's voice. And your voice fit's Gerald's demeanor, strong and powerful at first with a loving, gentle undertone. I was driven to tears by this song only twice, the first time when I heard Priscilla sing it and the second just now listening to your version. Bravo!

Once I received a reply to a comment I had made from a young man who had just been released from hospital after trying to end his existence ..
As he told me his story I was deeply moved to reply to him ., to try to comfort him and encourage him a bit ..
In essence what I told this sweet young man was this .. even if I was only one person answering a comment .. that he mattered to me .. that he deserved to live and to love .. and that I would pray for him ..
He replied with two words .. thank you .. I thought of him often after that .. I did not think I would ever hear from him ., but hoped he would be all right ..
Six months ago I did hear from him .. he said he was doing better., and he wanted me to know the words I said to him somehow helped him to keep going .. and that he was grateful .. I told him I was so happy to hear from him ..and so very happy for him .,

From that day forward I have realized my life purpose .. to do my best to help if I can .. that every word said may be quite important to someone who has lost their purpose.. and may help them find it again ..
