I have the pink bunny fabric from your collection that you designed , this project made me realize it would be perfect for also making matching scalloped placemats for Valentine’s Day. I made my first basket with foam batting with binding along the edge last fall, I like your scalloped edge much better especially for valentines (the scallops remind me of heart shapes). I wonder how easy it would be to add a drawstring topper in another version for this basket pattern (without the scalloped edge), I think that would be super cute for a possible new pattern idea. I would love to learn how to make that so you have the option to keep the basket open or covered (we get a lot of dust from sunlight where I live and I always worry about sunlight fading my fabric.) I love the music in your videos, they seriously cheer me up! Also love your stash of Liberty fabrics, I wanted to start gathering small amounts from various prints for EPP but it’s really hard to find right now, especially their classic prints, can I ask where you get yours from? (Your bunny and little chick fabrics (I have both 🤣) would also look so cute for fussy cutting into small hexagon shapes!) Wishing you a Happy New Year, thank you for your lovely channel 🙏

Hi Minki - 😍 These are awesome! So many great uses for baskets. I’ve made lots of baskets but haven’t used the foam for them. I’m gonna add foam to my next one. Gives it so much stability. Simply beautiful! What is the benefit of adding the fusible web to the foam? Love that Red Hot fabric! The little hexagons are perfect for this project.
The fusible web fuses the batting and outer fabric together so the basket stands well on it's own without any wrinkling on the outside. Essentially you're gluing the outer fabric and batting together to make them one piece of fabric to deal with.

You were not very clear at all in showing step by step instructions. Boxing bags or folding the bag?? . Could not tell what you were doing . Beginner level this is not. I could because I have done it before. You are there sewing a wad of fabric at the sewing machine.
