- It's another Hazard Course, but its whole point is the just annoy the hell out of you. Which is why it's funny.
Hazardous Course 2 aims to create a second Hazard Course obviously, but when you play through it, you realize that the mod tries to screw with you a lot. It basically tries to annoy you by killing you in the dumbest ways possible. It also takes a while to complete if you're not good at the game.

Oh, you're only 2/3 of the way through the mod. Yes, for real.
This is one of the best mods I played for half life, it's infuriatingly difficult and I had to cheat here and there but even then it was worth it to play it through.
Also a LOT of secrets to be found when you have the time and patience.

This mod looks really well made. Lots of work put into it. And the dark comedy is excellent. Also, lmao when the target practice turned into a warzone. That deserves a special mention.
The modder took the time to number those steps at the end.

At least Barney finally gives you that beer he owes you once you get to the bar section of the Climbing Tower.
Apparently there's more after the climbing tower, but the way to continue is in an out-of-the-way area where you get to fall back down to Earth.
What an absurd but well-built mod. Why am I seeing this almost a year later?
How is Gordon Freeman, a nerdy theoretical physicist, able to take on hordes of aliens, squads of marines, destroy a couple of eldritch gods and repel the forces of a galactic empire that is a Type II civilization all on his own?

You actually CAN destroy the Bradley Tank, you have to shoot it with the 50. Cal
Or spam it with hand grenades and MP5 grenades, if you manage to conserve enough, or use the rocket launcher if you do the tomb raider secret.
The .50 cal turret is mostly for the other enemies.

Man, Black Mesa really went downhill after Aperture beat them in funding
I can confirm from bloody experience the Hazardous Course portion *is* possible without cheats.
The Tower, AKA "the real part for which the course was the tutorial" on the other hand...
The Tower can also be beaten without cheats, you just have to have to be EXTREMELY patient, save at every possible moment, be good at GoldSrc to B-hop, and not be a wuss that uses the cheat commands just because you were too impatient.
Oh and make sure you drink the beer that Barney FINALLY gives you for a health boost for the rest of the way.

During that Factory part, you're supposed to lead the Barney you get introduced to through the factory while keeping him alive and babysitting the hell out of him. It's an exceptionally grueling part especially when you can speedrun the rest of the mod. This mod gets really easy after playing it a number of times and it's one of my favourite experiences. It's like Kaizo Mario for Half-Life!
I kind of forgot about barney after I left him, and I didn't realize that I needed him until someone mentioned it. Thank god I didn't realize it because that would've given me a headache.
@@LamWarp It really wracks your brain when you play through this mod. Especially with finding the secrets, unlocking the three secret levels and what not. It's pretty wild.

oof. Very late response, I didn't notice there was a question. I've played quite a few, and I've made a list of mods that I want to play. But I want to make these videos funny or entertaining, and a mod that's trying to be serious, I don't think would be funny to watch. Even I would probably get bored from it. I also try to stay away from very long mods, as I don't want to spend 792865986348752 years editing, so yea.

At 10:30 you needed a security guard to get to that room and to get him at was at the start of this factory segment, but to be honest its better to cheat rather than actually get him, that part was so frustating . . .
