rot the crack surface 8-10 mm,
adding a single piece of cast plate,
screw and metal boiling

You dont weld a casted iron, it simply dont resist because of its molecular composition... I believe that you are trying to fix it, but that fix is just for a short period. With smaller and not even so deep cracks you scrap them..
