Love the lyrics and the meaning behind it! I think you have a great song here but just need some sound work.
If you care for some constructive criticism I left some below but if not, please don't bother and just know that I support you regardless and look forward to your music! :)
Your volume and the instrumental volume is all over the place. There are times your volume is not quite matching the instrumental or vice versa and it sounds like you're mumbling at some points (not sure if this is intentional). Generally your voice always needs to be louder than the instrumental. Subito crescendo's can be nice but not as often as you use them in this song. The instrumental part of the crescendo should also always be lower than your voice. If you're going for a crescendo that slowly becomes louder then the volume of your voice should also increase but always slightly louder. If you're going to use a soft crescendo into a dynamic pop(another word for subito crescendo) then you should never sing through the "pop." Once you've hit the peak you should consider a slow decrescendo sometimes rather than a subito decrescendo.
I don't want to nit pick your song too much because I know you are going for your own style but it does help listeners adapt to your style when you include familiar patterns in music. Going against the norm can work sometimes but some things should just be left alone ;)
